I have spied on a couple of large Dayz organization. Far too many people gladly take gear from their tents camps that is clearly duped or hacked. This hurts the 'state' of the game just as much as the hackers. In my opinion it is worse then hacking, because you are legitimizing that sort of hacking mentality for your community. Admitting that you are a spy is never good on the forums, but today i realized now was an important time to mention this. If the dev team wasnt focused on anti hacking, we would of had the ray casting zombies of 1.7.1 earlier this week; which i assume are zombies with frikin lasers attached to their heads. Anyways, i wont blabber on too much, but i would like to hear other group's opinions and stories about this.

Worried that reducing spawn rates will cause more people to server hop. If more randomization is added to spawns, this could be prevented. -

If it was based on people getting better, i think we would see huge increases in player alive times. Once players learn what not to do, their lives should go from 30 minutes, to several hours. But really the statistics behind it are complex, and untill we get database access, i doubt we'll be really able to determine the cause. For Ander, these things might be usefull to look into, possibly all graphed at the same time: If time permits, try to categorize the players based on average survival time, and not play time. Then do statistics on the different groups. Just because someone plays a lot doesn't mean they are 'good'. Average lifetime/ total play time. Murders/ total playtime Murders/zombie kills zombie kills/ total play time Gun usage statistics/time -

Respawning vehicles is currently not in game, but i would expect it soon, as it is 'easier' to do than many other things.

Most of us know that you can survive against a raging hoard of zombies just by running from them. But did you know that you can kill a hoard of zombies by running from them? Exhibit #1: The reason you can run forever from zombies is that their attack causes them to stop running. By the time they swing their arms, you are out of range. So to keep the zombies from whining on these forums all day, Rocket makes them have a much faster running speed. If you combine fast forward speed, with a steep hill, and a zombie flapping his arms, you end up with a zombie dieing from fall damage. Too many bugs pop up that you need the debug menu for. However, i guess there is no reason a toggle shouldn't be in place, except for coding time/effort. -

yeah some of the answers were extremely limited, i.e. age and life span. I dont know how much faith i'll put into the results from this one, but i'll be glad to see the results of a more flushed out version. -

check for zombie missions on www.armaholic.com. Some of them have pretty well set up missions where roles like that exist. -
I fear the communication of the players current situation will be insufficient and that this may detract from immersion. I would like the hud reduced more (especially the chat), but not at the cost of knowing how my character is doing. or for lols= http://www.gamingvests.com/

I dont think i like the concept of rewards like that. It turns it more into, well, a game. Goals, and grinding for stats i think will just detract from the freedom offered in the game. I kinda like logging in each day and not knowing what i'm going to be up to. Additionally, many of the requirements can just be exploited fairly fast. Stick a weight on your keyboard to run alot, grind zombies in a closed building with a shotgun, murder players on the beach. Lots of other 'perk' threads are out there. Check them out for some other opinions on how this would end up effecting the feel of the game.

Where you were: Tested with 5-8 people watching barrels in both stary sobor and berizino What you were doing: being awesome; can provide more info if this isnt happening for everyone/on every server *Current installed version: 1.5.8.2
