What you reported happens as a result of pressing Right-SHIFT + P, which is the hotkey for the Server Control. Most servers have this set to kick instantly, because many people use it for hacking and spawning in items. If you were scripting / hacking / cheating at the time, enjoy your ban in around 48 hours. Otherwise just don't press Right-SHIFT + P.

Hey guys! So I was playing DayZ and I had an idea. What if you could find optics / sights for weapons? For example, maybe you can find Red-Dot Sights, Holographic Sights, Night Vision Sights etc., maybe even thermal sights. Obviously things like the Night Vision and Thermal Sights would have a very low spawn chance, say 0.16%, the same as the GPS. They would only spawn at Barracks and Heli Crash Sites, whereas things like RDS' and Holographic Sights might spawn at General Military, Deer Stands, Fire Houses etc. So, for example, you could make an AS50 TWS if you wanted, then have a 3x/12x Variable Zoom Scope (the AS50 standard scope) placed in your backpack, to put on say an FN FAL or an M16 etc. I think this would add a lot more customization ability, so maybe if you put Night Sights on your AS50 you would be able to use it at night etc. As stated above, I think it is only logical to have these be applicable to weapons with pre-placed rails (most Assault Rifles and military loot), so you couldn't put a Red-Dot Sight on a Winchester or Lee Enfield, for example. The script to make them spawn was removed, not the actual weapon. The coding for the weapon still exists, which is why it can be spawned in by hackers. My L85 wasn't removed... Good luck! - Vinyl.

Man I hate hackers. I've had MORE than enough encounters with them. Fortunately, for high-level hacks such as Vehicle Spawns and Teleportation, they all get banned within 48 hours, usually. Most get insta-banned for using out-dated hacks, it's pretty funny to see this: Player was kicked for Gamehack (#28). But yeah. They're assholes. I plugged a guy with my AS50 with an AS50 mag for 174208.8 Blood Damage square in the chest at 300m after he spawned a Pickup Truck. Zero fucks given, they guy got in his truck, I blew it up, then he disconnected. Yes it's annoying, we can only hope it gets patched relatively soon :/

No, because some of them are legit. The AS50 TWS was originally in the game, but Rocket removed it because it was considered overpowered, which, have no doubt, it was. It was so completely unbalanced because suddenly some player could see and hit players through over a kilometre of forest or anywhere else. Players stood out like Road Flares at night through the TWS, it was WAY too overpowered. So it got removed, along with the L85A2 AWS, however this was later re-introduced. Never-the-less, several AS50 TWS' still exist in the game, mostly thanks to duping, people then trade them off for Satchel Charges and other high-end gear. Unfortunately it's difficult to ban someone for having one, as you can't really tell if it's legitimate or spawned in. Good luck! - Vinyl.

AS50 + Ghillie Suit + Rangefinder + Elektrozavodsk Power Plant = Good Times. I have 17 murders and 2 bandit kills, just from camping that hill. But now I'm out of AS50 mags ;( But good times while it lasted!

This is honestly one of the funniest things I have ever seen. EVER.

That's not a hacker, that's a visual glitch caused by a UH-1H Huey Helicopter that crashed in the area, I've seen it before. Just stay away from it, it's not dangerous.

Hey guys, just thought I'd report a hacker I saw today on NZ 28, I was sniping on Elektrozavodsk hill when I heard a vehicle, it was one of those truck things, a V3S Civilian according to DayZ Mobile, pulling up to the Elektrozavodsk Power Plant. So I ranged him at 350m, hit his truck with my AS50 while he went inside the Power Plant / Fire Station and it blew up, a couple of minutes later I heard a car, and an Offroad Pickup Truck headed South-West towards Elektro West, so I shot at him, and took his back-left wheel out. The guy got out, took cover behind a house, and insta-repaired his Pickup Truck, but before he got in I hit him square in the chest at 400m for 174204.8 Blood Damage (AS50 with AS50 Mag) according to DayZ Mobile. Unsurvivable, it's in instant-kill, one-shot-kill. Yet this guy, zero shits given, gets into his Pickup Truck again, I AGAIN blow out the back left wheel, he gets out, it blows up and he disconnects. What. The. Fuck. Seriously getting tired of this shit guys. I have no screenshots or anything, just my words, didn't get a name either. Thanks! - Vinyl.
