I do not appreciate griefers. I do like that there is banditry. I do not think griefers, especially op snipers are a valuable part of the game. Having said that, they will always be part of the game. I have played a lot of pvp, from diablo one and two, to hardcore ones like lineage 2. Wow, mount and blade, a few call of duties and modern warefares. A few douzen that are forgettable. The one think that is always there are griefers. Some people enjoy a real challenge, some enjoy domination. That is always true in pvp games. Some people use cheat for just that reason. They enjoy domination, maybe one day they will learn to enjoy success gained from a really difficult challenge. While griefing and cheating are not the same thing, I think motivations are similar. DayZ is a great challenging game. Adrenalin is common and success brings a real sense of satisfaction. Some may just be bored, the devs need to step up their game to keep players occupied, also, make snipers more vulnerable.

Turrets would NOT make a vehicles less vulnerable. On my phone and can't edit.

One of the biggest problems is the lack of occupation for end game. If a group, clan or individual had to assemble a .50 cal in the back of a pickup that would occupy some time. Also, it would make the vehicle less vulnerable so caution would need to be used in pvp. Most sniper rifles should go bye-bye. Military snipers are rare, so the spawn should be more rare. They should be replaced by civilian hunting rifles. More muzzle flash for these weapons as well, they don't have flash suppressors. That will make snipers more vulnerable to groups. Military (non-armord) vehicles with mounts for machine guns would be cool. Something valuable but not invulnerable to protect. I personally think assualt weapons should be the primary weapons found in military spawns, with only a few select places spawning sniper rifles. I vote for much more vehicles and less gas. It makes more sense and leads to less admin/hacker abuse. There will still be repairs, vehicle destruction and pvp at gas tanks. Think of the dynamic, would you bring your firepower/valuable vehicle to a risky place to gas up? Or just run in, fill up and run away? If you know a group has a humv with a turret and you see them gassing up on foot, you can follow them and ether destroy or try and take their vehicle. Helecopter battles, enough said.

I've obly died to one hacker, a battle arena thing. Possibly a second but I think it was a bug. I've died to glitches once or twice. And bandits probably twice. Other players that shoot everyone on site 4-5 times. Zombies that glitch through walls and ether trap me in a room or 1 hit knockout, 10+. Zombie glitches are the worste for me.

H3retic, doesn't work like that. Some resets it doesn't respawn, sometimes it respawns randomly. From what I understand rare vehicles like the heli and fastboat that are one per server can take a week to respawn. Persoanally I understand the logic of wanting them to be rare, but I think limiting the "endgame" so strictly is causing the griefing. Better to not make a bad name for your game before release. Put the dogs aside and find ways to make the game easier to insttall, run better on machines and occupy people so they don't grief, or give them motivation to spare people who aren't a threat.

Right now on US1179 it looks like all of Electro is on fire. There are two other players showing on this server, yongou and USI. Do not know if they are the hackers. He could have logged or maybe doesn't show up in the lobby.

met, I used to have the same problems. I switched from Clear 4g to Roadrunner and had less, but still problems. Did a clean install of my operating system and deleted window.old. Everything cleared up after that. That error seams to be ping related, specifically unstable pings. Battleye support will not help you, so no clue why they still exist as as a company. Take any steps you can to stabilize your ping.

Not really interested in filling out an application, been in clans in past games and found it too rigid. If anyone wants to team up and raid towns/airfields, fix cars or helicopters or what ever send me a pm. I'll be cooking for the next hour but will be on most of the night. I have some decent stuff, nothing high end. Blood bags, everything needed for meat, AK, ect. I wouldn't mind getting a group of 3-4, laid back kind of people that want to make the game enjoyable.

An SSD drive is the single most important upgrade you can do to your system. Plus, why have a powerhouse processor and only 8gb of ram? You can get 120gb SSD for like $70 now, I'd suggest a 256gb for $150, (ScanDisk). You need to load your operating system, games and applications you want to run fast, and nearly full SSD read/write each cell more often and increases failure rates. You should get a traditional mechanical HDD for media you don't use often, basically a mass storage device to keep your SSD clean. You should check my build thread, it is an $800 AMD build. Plus superior graphics performance.
