hey guys its been awhile. went to get on your server and it says its down, just wondering if you guys still have it up or if its permanently down. look forward to hearing back from you guys

sounds good, we are excited to have this. but if you do add it in you might want to make sure and increase the spawn on wire, tank traps, and sand bags otherwise building will be almost impossible. also i appologize for us putting tents in teh rocks. meant to ask you about it that night we were talking in teamspeak and i forgot. i know you guys are against exploits but at the same time we really didnt see that as one. again we appologize.

Well I know that they haven't added that yet. And I'm not sure if they would. I'd still be willing to try it though

i would love to try it out, as long as you would provide the download link and guides to installing it. im pretty sure dayz commander would support it because im sure ive seen servers before that were dayz adn running rMod. im sure ive seen it in some of their server name. good luck with it though and just keep us posted

ok i can see where you are comming from. as for the humvee tow, yeah sorry but that is way too op. not hard to aim, i think it might even lock on. then the fact that its a one hit kill. no thanks way too much power

i like the sounds of all the new guns, but glad to hear you took out most of the OP vehics. just seems they strayed way too far away from dayz. though i do feel the same about the launchers too. personally with those and all vehics with the TOWs and launchers, do we really need those???? it all just seems way too OP and just not dayz anymore. guns yes, anthing that has launchers is a no from me. still be playing though and look forward to seeing you guys in game.

i get what you guys are saying. but for the popularity thing, i think its becuz the guys who created it are being stingy with their code so their arent many servers. but the servers that are teh originals are ALWAYS full. and i mean always. weve been trying them out and have nothing but fun in them. and they have all the same vehicles you guys have plus more, and then all the new ones, and witht eh whole night 4 hour and day 4 hours it adds a little bit of both no matter what time of day you play or where you are. and again section B just creates a whole new experience. but i do understand some of building problems. and what do you mean by even?

Like the updates guys. All sounds good cant wait for the new weapons to start spawning more. With the peripheral dots though, the new dayz patch got rid of those so you should be fine and not have to worry too much about fixing them. On a side note though, if the code is released and if you guys have tried it, you should think about porting over to dayz origins. We played it and live it and its on Tatiana so it's not that much different, new buildings and stuff along with some more islands and section b. just thought I'd mention

thank you sir, i have greatly enjoyed your server and am now glad i can continue playing one it. happy i can get back to playing. and just to be clear we didnt recieve anything from him except a ride, so unless that vehic was hacked in we had no suspicions on our side at all otherwise we would not have associated ourselves with him. again thank you and keep up the good work

I play on a server with custom building, loot tables and you can build you own base/fort amd it works just fine with the update its a great addition and makes dayz just that much harder, now just more to worry about than just other players its amazing

If you use steam, just double tap W key then while holding it press shift and tab at the same time to bring up steam overlay. Your character will then auto run even when you hit shift tab again the exit overlay. To stop running just double tap W key again. :) your welcome. Oh and works for vehicles to to make them cruise control

If you want more weapons and vehicles try lingor its aweesome. Try searching for the server ODM it always has an admin on and it is great. They even do special events sometimes

Msi afterburner. Its free records GREAT hd video the file size is bigger, but you can use microsoft movie maker to compress it. It takes awhile to get the settings right to get the audio synced so that it records game and mic audio and you have to mess with your comp sound setting too but a quick google search with set it up nicely, i just started re ording gameplay and it works amazingly

Do it man, its is worth it no matter what anyone else says. Its fun just play in low pop servers to start out. If you get bored of it or hackers are too much for you then download and play lingor also. Its a fresh new spin on the reg dayz. Ive only been playing dayz for a month and ive downloaded and play both and im addicted. I only baught arma 2 oa for dayz and i dont regret a thing. Im telling you you eont regret a thing

So i was think about it, and maybe a new game type for the standalone game that would be interesting would be something like how hungergames is. For those of you who havent seen or read it, you could have 15-24 poeple all spawn 10-15m apart with NOTHING then have a giant pile of goodies or items and food and backpacks loaded with different stuff in the center of the circle. Have it start and everyone either grabs gear, kills people or books it off, maybe make so no one can die for the forst 5 min or so, have the game last and hour or sooner or later. Your food and drink could deplenish faster than normal forcing people to loot amd find/hunt other players. Last one who survives wins. Zombies would still be there and still be a threat. To me it sounds like a thrill, with fast paced gameplay but still with the survival aspect of it. What do you guys think?

well someone has there pannies in a bunch. for one thing ive only suggested it once, for two it was just an idea, a fast paced version OF THE SAME GAME. there are still zombies, there is still survival and there are still other players to deal with, instead of the drawn on characters that last days. thats all i was saying, dont get me wrong i love the regular dayz i was just thinking that that would make an interesting option to play other than just the regular game.

um.....thats the point. the same thing to keep the people who play it interested, and because it would be the same thing, just a little faster paced, so maybe someone doesnt want to spend days playing one character, they just want to play dayz for a little while, they pick that mode and there you go, just a quick run

walking isnt sooo bad. i mean its part of the game and all. i have been playing for 4 days and havent had a vehicle, walked for 4 hours straight on the edge of the map looking for camps because all the vehicle spawns were empty so i KNOW some clan on the server im on is hoarding them. anyway happy trails :) :thumbsup:
