    ^ This. Believe me, I started this game the day of the new patch, and I am hella' heart-broken that I can't save my gear.

    800 can get you a pretty decent computer. However, with only $400, you're gonna be cutting back on the Board/CPU and the graphics card. You can get away with playing this on an HD 6670 I'm sure. When I built my PC, the I5 760 was the premier choice, however, it's definitely changed at this point. You mentioned you've never done it before, a brand new computer with good parts isn't really the best starting point.. I blew out a lot of old 233 MHz processors while I was learning (about 7 years ago) :/

    Strangely, I updated, then got the crazy forever loading, tried a couple more, now it's working ok. Only thing I can think of is that the old patch is hella' bugged now.

    DayZ servers are rendering a lot more than ArmA 2 server. As the above poster said, it's your processor (most likely) you're running a dual core. Not a core2duo, but a dual core! Those things have outdated technology, it's time for an upgrade!

    Zombies alive: 0 total: 0. I am however only running standard 5200 RPM drives. I understand these are a bit outdated now, but what the hell is being written to my disk?

    Bought this game yesterday, it worked great. I played today before I went to work, even better. Now that I'm home from work, I'm getting lag on any server I try to play. CPU Usage is 22%, Memory Usage is 23%. My computer shits on this game. Is this a current problem or did my computer's hardware degrade over the course of my shift at work? There is latency on moving, and I am getting about 12 frames per second instead of 60. Whyyyyyyy?
