    Honestly, there are some pretty cool hackers out there that just help players and give them gear. This has happened multiple times.

    I once logged out inside a hospital with no weapons because there was nothing in the hospital on this server so i decided to change and hope for the best, i went to a different server and realised the glass wasn't broken and i couldn't get out, after about 10 minutes of standing there asking over direct communication if anyone could help me out I get teleported to the thunderdome all by myself and the hacker says take anything you need then come back to me, So i run to an ammo crate get a whole bunch of stuff for me and my friend that I usually play with and go back to the guy, he spawns a helicopter and says there you go enjoy your stuff mate. I was amazed at this guy so i drive the helicopter around for a bit knowing it would disappear on server restart then I lay down in the grass. Next day I log into a server immediatly someone teleports next to me and kills me. So i figured meh all my gear was hacked anyway so I go on with my life.

    A few days later I find a UAZ and drive it far up north and set up a camp with a bunch of weapons I found i tell me friend to get on the server and when he gets on he says to me "Dude a boat just fell next to me and there are 6 people on it" really confused and scared hackers were gonna teleport to me and take my hard earned gear I move further away from my camp. He then tells me over skype that they asked him if he wanted to go anywhere i gave him my coords and the boat teleported next to me they then spawned us both a UAZ and an ammo crate with more guns than I could ever hold, we took a whole bunch of stuff drove it down to the coast and started giving fresh spawns random high tier guns. Next day our camp was raided so we started over and went on with our dayz lives.

    Now the last hacker I ran into about 3 days ago, me and my friend were walking on the coast just started new he spawned in komoravo and i spawned in kamenka some guy teleports to him breaks his legs and then bandages him up, I started laughing cause i thought it was hilarious and at that moment the same happened to me, as the guy was running away and probably just before he teleported to his next victim i kind of yelled over mic for him to stop for a second and I said exactly like this "Dude dude, stop okay i get you're a hacker and you're having fun but if you're gonna break my legs and stuff i can just respawn so thats fine but could you maybe just give me a cool gun or something hehe" he walks back towards me spawns a weapon crate, UAZ and a helicopter, i then ask him if he can bring my mate to me and he said that his friend (who was also a hacker) was on it. soon me and my friend were both at the ammo crate and the hackers just stood there 2 minutes of just standing there and they kill us, but we go back and get some weapons and the heli so they were clearly just messing with us so im not sure.

    Anyway what im really trying to say is there are some hackers that just mess around with you but give you stuff in exchange for everything they do to you, then there are the ones that just nuke servers, kill everyone multiple times, teleports people and ruin the game. In my opinion both are bad but the hackers that kill everyone on a server are worse than those going around to help players and just mess with them as a joke

    Ye I always come back to this game I love it, what i tend to do is everytime I die I kind of go on a new course or have a new goal in mind, so in my current life im full bandit sniping in the main cities, where in my previous life all I did was drive around to towns giving people medical supplies, blood tranfusions or just a lift to a different town in my car I managed to get 11k humanity before I died. Just mix things up and this game doesn't really get boring that fast.

    Honestly I find it fun like having my mate with me being the "Spotter" while I shoot, I mostly only counter-snipe, but if it looks like you are a high threat I will take you down too. I've always enjoyed sniping on any game and the realism I guess you could call it on this game is the closest i've really seen in any game and its just fun to have to zero your sniper, try and judge how far infront of the target you have to aim etc.

    I wish I could get a AS50 but I have only ever found it once and that was when I had a shoot out with another bandit and killed him :(.

    :/ should hang out around the elektro hills, I kill at least 4-ish bandits a day with as50's on their backs around that area but I usually hide the bodies so they cant get their guns back, mostly because I hate people who snipe fresh spawns, but ye just look around there, probably most common place to find them except for heli crash sites and cherno industrial buildings/hills. (sorry off-topic xD)

    People are such bitches in this game, they can shoot fresh spawns but cant take on anyone if they are being shot at themselves.

    Its just like what happened today, me and my friend were counter-sniping bandits in cherno on top of the large industrial buildings, we got 2 kills and figured we'd move positions so we didn't get flanked by the people we just killed or others counter-sniping or hunting us, as we were moving to a different hill my friend was just barely missed by a bullet and we started sprinting away to an open field, we both had ghillie suits so we layed down pretty much in the middle of the open field and he scouted the area with his thermal gun, told me the position and range on the target and we killed him, as soon as the shot hit he disconnected and the kill didn't count.

    We were now heading to Elektro mainly talking about aborting as you get shot and talking about how he's never done it and ive only done it to avoid what I suspect was a hacker, headed up to the Elektro sniper hill planning on just shooting anyone on sight as we're moving up the hill I see a guy with only a hand gun he took one shot (that missed) and I shot him with my as50, immediatly he dissapeared so we assumed he aborted as well. We got up on the mountain and immediatly spotted a sniper on top of the firestation, easily took him out saw his name and talked to him in the side channel, we let him get his stuff back and he was off.

    Now I don't know if this is the same person we shot from on top of the firestation, but I noticed someone attempting to flank us and even though I knew he was there he didn't feel like a threat I continued scoping out Elektro and a few seconds later my friend tells me over skype that he's been shot and the shooter is right behind him, I was laying about 20m ahead of him and instead of logging out like a pussbag I stood up and hid behind a nearby tree looked for the guy and shot him.

    Logging out to avoid dying is the biggest dick move in the game, it pretty much takes the fun and fear out of the game. Not knowing if you are going to live or die in a scenario is what keeps me playing this game and that kind of heart pumping like crazy feeling you get when you engage in a firefight makes the game what it is, imo. I hunt bandits, its what I do, If they log out it just shows how much of a pussy they are. I can understand a survivor or "hero" logging out upon being shot I still dont agree with what they are doing, but when a bandit does it, it just shows they cant take what they dish out themselves

    To everyone that is still have trouble with artifacts, when i first updated to 1.7.2.5 and logged into a server I was still getting them as well, i messed around with a bunch of video settings and even tried the flush thing, but nothing worked. So I went to my @dayZ folder and deleted everything in the folder instead of overwriting it and pasting the new 1.7.2.5 files into the folder and now after i logged in the artifacts were all gone even after messing with my video settings I could not get them to return (I played for about an hour to make sure they wern't just not loading so I went to the airstrip in Balota and then i headed to the middle of cherno and in both areas I palyed around with video settings to try and get them back but couldn't). So please try this and report if this helps thank you :)

    EDIT: forgot to add I only tried this on 2 different servers
