    So it's likely a server issue. Try finding a server that's in your area and that's 1/2 full. Keep on hopping if it keeps lagging. I've got this problem as well on some servers, whilst others run as smooth as water.

    set your overall videosettings on high. Putting everything on low dumps a huge load on your cpu, and there is only so much a cpu+ram can handle.

    What is your fps when play arma online? Without the dayz mod and all? Did you try the benchmark missions? If so, what do they tell you?

    I have the same problem ever since the update, stuck on loading for ages and laggy gameplay when I finally manage to get beyond the loading screen. Funny thing is that this isn't on all servers and sometimes I find a server that just runs smoothly, so maybe it's a server problem? What helps is joining a server that is 1/2 full, seeing as mostly empty servers are almost always bad/broken/laggy servers. Still, this is just a temporary solution to the problem and it should be fixed later on, I hope.

    Take up regular patrols though, people wait a long time for someone else to repair a chopper only to steal it from under their nose when they are done.

    I sorta resent the fact that I got teleported back to the beach but then again, it brings a certain kind of excitement to see people again. Surviving in the woods for the last week has made me lonely, and z's don't make for great companions.
