  1. Zombies!Run!

    Something fishy on US912

First chance I've had to go back in, and I was kicked within a few minutes, and not by battleye. Guidekk of the TG clan was shown as the admin. I did have enough time to see that the tents were back and there was plenty of stuff in them, so you appear to be right about running them over not destroying the items inside. Again, as stated above, I have no proof that the admins of US912 are hacking in and duping weapons, but that certainly appears to be a very strong possibility. There are plenty of other servers for me to play on, so that's not my concern. What bothers me is that these weapons will not be restricted to their server. If they want to set up a private hive, let them hack all they want. Gee, wouldn't that be fun? Why don't we just put tents filled with weapons on the beach near spawn points? That would cut out the middle man and ruin the game much faster.

    Something fishy on US912

Went back to survey the damage, and immediately noticed that I still had the satchel charge. When I arrived at the camp, the tents were still flattened, but the offroad pickup and the hatchback were still there...so I set the charge again and tripped it manually. Boom! Glorious! That's when it got interesting. Within a minute, I heard a huey overhead. US912 has tags, so I could tell it was being flown by a member of the TG clan (US912 is their server). Virtually all the people on the server at that point were TG. Now, I'm not saying that camp with the hacked in/duped loot was theirs. They could have just seen the explosion while flying around and decided to investigate. Given that I didn't know their intentions (they didn't shoot at me, but they may not have seen me), and since I had no heavy weapons anyway (just my sweet ACOG), I didn't engage them. About 10 minutes later, the helo is gone and the admin posts on global chat that the server is restarting "NOW". As I said, "Fishy"
  3. I was elated when I happened upon a camp to the west of the NEAF around 2PM CDT today. There were several tents and a couple vehicles. After looking around for snipers I entered the camp hoping for a shiny new as50, and boy did I find one. Actually, I found several, some of which had the name AS50 TWS. They also had about every other kind of weapon you can imagine, though I didn't see any other weapon types that shouldn't be in the game. There were also several satchel charges in the tents, so I put one of them to use. Instead of the AS50 I had hoped for, I snagged a satchel charge, jumped in their pristine offroad pickup, and ran over their tents and into the other vehicle before setting the satchel charge on a timer and getting the hell out of there. I didn't get to see the explosion, but I did get a satisfying kick for script #55 that sometimes accompanies exploding vehicles. I don't expect that will slow them down much, but it was worth it even if it just annoyed them. Could someone look into this please? I love the game, but spending hours hunting for a lousy AK seems kinda pointless if assholes are just going to spawn this crap into the game.
