the problem with this is that if your buddy is being swarmed by zeds you can just spray them off of him and not have to care f you hit him or not... that's just being lazy... if hes already unconscious you can hose away anyways because there's little chance of hitting him, but if the game magically stops your bullets from hurting him then there's no risk involved with helping your friend you can just shoot away....
The problem is that this takes away from the tense atmosphere of "can i trust that person... can i still trust him... what if he shoots when i don't look." It would take away from the game in my opinion i could see something like if you team up you can see the tags of only that person (which would mean that tags are disabled throughout the servers) you just have to try harder to make sure hes not in your line of fire when trying to help
I like the idea, the problem is that if you spawn the imposter zombie in a building he wouldn't be able to be fast because since zombies can only walk in buildings (for some reason) and considering that if you shoot once anyways every zombie in the town and more are after you anyways :S maybe im just unlucky but every-time i shoot a zombie everyone heres it lol and then 50 zombies are after me so its a bit redundant to give some a higher detection radius but maybe it would be good if it balances them out?
alright i understand what you mean with that but still there's a difference between INFECTED living people(not living dead) and anomilies and mutated animals. where did the mutated animals come from? its a human virus that turned them into infected and anomalies as a bit more than infected people, and about the food thing... why do you think they are trying to eat your face off? lots of food and water in your body....
Now what im talking about is adding a feature to the game where you can look at the bodies when you go through the inventory or something and see how long the body has been there (only roughly) as in between 1 and 2 hours or 3 and 5 something like that or maybe if its really fresh body its a few min or 30 min something like that. Also when you find player bodies it would be good to know if they died by another person or by a zombie ( irl it would be easy to see if he got shot its another player if its zombie wounds it was zombies)
