I have updated the org post to include more information on the server

Sign me up wireworld, the names there <----- Looking for players to be added to my own private server, but also looking for others to play on myself. I have others who would gladly join up! Dayz Commander not finding your server, searched for wireworld with all filters off??

It would even be good if we could get numbers sorted before I allow access to the server, say I start a list of interested parties then once the numbers are larger I open the server and the vehicle weapon rush commences! That way everyone starts with nothing at the same time and it makes it fair for all the players starting out with equal chance to run into each other and find the rich stuff. Shall I start : 1 - AlexHoss and Friends 2 - MrCraigBlack and Friends 3 - ? Until I have, say 10 applicants, I shall keep the server locked down and keep my guys off it also. Pass the word around, the gold rush is coming!

I'm more than happy to give out the pw to players here but we will still check the logs and treat the server as public in that sense. The only trouble with having the auto save feature, is it seems when vehicles are teleported they are saved in that position and a server restart isn't enough to reset them as we found out earlier after an attack by some idiot, a full hive reset is required. We could even use this thread as a means to report funny goings on in the server as a way of policing it between ourselves.

I was hoping our hive reset would have happened by now, I'm still waiting on this happening from our host. Other than that we are good to go, the reset may not happen until tomorrow tho unfortunately. I will PM you the password when it has been done.

It may have just been coincidence then Break, I just tried to make sense of it, same server I always play on, spawned in dead, spawned in debug wilderness, re-logged, spawned on coast without a thing. I did keep my ghillie suit tho, nothing else.

This happened to me, lost everything but the clothes on my back. Do you happen or did you happen to play OA or any other expansion prior to joining the server? Only 2 dayz ago I played some of the OA campaign and found this is what caused the exact same ting to happen to me. Seems DayZ doesn't like it when you change mod/expansion.

Hey Sula/Guys, Scotland here. There are 4 of us who have a basic forum we use for outside of game chat related to DayZ and generally being social, we have a server running, play quite regularly when our kids allow and would like to have a few others join us. We use teamspeak and have had some great laughs playing together for the last 4 weeks. We enjoy raiding towns and cities and vehicle scavenging. We prefer to avoid conflict but have had some fire fights. We also like to avenge thefts and general hoodlumery! I am the youngest at 32 and the others are 40 41 and 42. Our guys wont be renewing our server, it is completely pointless right now. If we get beta access to The War Z, it's game over for DayZ for me and probably the rest, if it meets expectations.

If this is true, we have only been waiting for 2 weeks........ Any ideas when? Got a link to this information?

Asking a question about DayZ on the DayZ forum, who'd have thought! God the forum police do my proverbials right in, just be nice! We should have a Humanity meter on the forums!!!! Are you bandits in game as well?

What I do to overcome this is, get to the point where it happens without a right click zoom or binocs, abort and exit completely, DayZ Comm I use to check recent and re-join. I can then run around without issue. It seems important to do this when you are at the point that no zoom is causing it, as for a fix, god knows, but it seems to be the dead soldiers around certain areas that cause it?

Or delete it with the current issues?

I spent 22 hours yesterday (non stop) hunting for a vehicle, finding one, repairing it, driving about for some gear accumluation, park up save my tent an vehicle. I decided after 8 days of being a female I was fed up of standing out like a dude in a birds toilet and left all my gear in the tent to go die so I could spawn a guy and grab my shit. As soon as I died, the server crashed the reason you ask? Server had issues ( TIMEOUT ) for 60 seconds ( Restarted 0 time(s) ) lol. I couldn't respawn, tried another server eventually did but with my female char and all my gear, tried our server, spawn in debug, ran to our camp, nothing. Restarted server, the tents appeaered nothign else, gear vehicle all gone. I am and I'm not complaining, yes its a total waste of my time but surely there was a reason? Hive down? Server issue? I find it strange that as soon as I commited suicide the server crashed. Not a happy bunny this morning, but then, what else would we do with everything? The bugs probably keep this game ticking over!

Made perfect sense, I will be stopping my server in the hours when no admins are about, hence why I said I will be from now on.

Server has been closed due to the idiots. If anyone on here was a regular let me know if you have any idea who it was, I get the impression one of them was "God". Sorry but I aint putting up with the lack of support for server admins, not even being able to ban while the server is running is retarded. (Multiplay) Using rcon tools tells me my rcon password is wrong so can't use them either. The server log just so happened to not record up to 20 minutes before said person connected, un surprisingly enough, so I am unable to guid ban him. What is the best rcon tool so far that actually works, so I can ban while server is running?
