    Greetings, please try to following: Exit Steam and run it in administrator, this should hopefully resolve your problem. If not please post back here and I shall see what else I can do to help you :)

    I would suggest using something like fraps, or any other software that displays an fps overlay, I'm unaware of anyway to display fps via the game its self.
