  1. I got m24 and had M4a1 but it disappeared.. So now only m24 and m9 silenced. Loads of clips for both. Large coyote pack, entranching tool and all accessories.
  2. As we all know, every server lags horribly and I hear that it is because of the main server. Is there any plan or ETA on when this will be fixed? Thanks.

    Any ETA on fixing lag?

Hi, I read the books, they are GREAT! Thanks for a good find.
  4. It would be hilarious if you would actually post his info. He would get his ass kicked so hard by so many people IRL. But, this is not 4chan and we have to stay civil :) Hopefully he just pays for his actions.

    Passwords for tents

I'm all about sovereignty in games. Eve online has a fascinating sovereignty system built by players. Me and my group are trying to establish sovereignty on certain servers but I would like our territory to be maintained 24/7 until breached by another group (or a really professional individual). One way to do this is by having passwords to access tents. That means that groups can have access to weapons in order to re-arm. To compensate, tents could be as rare and as hard to get by as, say, helicopters or at least NVG's. Thoughts?

Hi. Where do I download patches for ARMA2, such as this beta patch? Thank you.

    Passwords for tents

Exactly. Leeway where it is due. Btw people that are proposing that the password can be 'lockpicked' have obviously never played a game with sovereignty. Passwords are obtained with spies. If passwords and locks could be picked or hacked, then everyone would just go around hacking safes and picking locks obtaining uber gear.

    Passwords for tents

Everyone burns down my idea because tents can be cut open in real life but as soon as someone suggests a SAFE, everyone's up for it...DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW MUCH A SAFE WEIGHS??? ANYONE? Jesus fucking christ, people.
  10. I know there is a wind factor for bullets in ACE2 but is it implanted in Day Z? Thanks.

    Passwords for tents

Hiding a tent is impossible because of the brutal requirements to place one. Sovereignty will never be a real thing in this mod without groups able to control some sort of assets. And, yes, it is unrealistic.. Then give us an option to 'bury' loot so that nobody sees it without literally stepping on it and mousewheeling.
  12. I'm a survivor by choice. I will walk up to a fella and do the Q+E and we will hop along together happily long after. Now I've seen that bandits seem to think that they are somehow smarter than survivors, just short of throwing racial slurs to describe them (bean-ers, anyone?). However, it seems that these same good bandits fail to trick, kill or even disrupt me and my brothers when I play. Today I've slain myself about 4 bandits. My group has took out more but 4 by my own hand. Now don't think that it was simply because we were a huge group killing off bandits. P.S. We never lost a man, even when ambushed by bandits with half our group on a bio break. The first kill was in the SE airstrip. I was in the control tower and got clipped through the glass and quickly got down. I suffered injuries, fractures and what not and the bandit was on his way up the ladder to collect his fresh loot. All he collected was an Enfield round to his pretty face, earning me some goodies. The second bandit was a player minding his tent in the woods. We asked him to leave with his life unscathed and told him that if he should choose to stalk us, we would kill him before he could fire a single shot. He obeyed and we looted his tent. Now this bandit was just as bright as the first bandit. He decided to stalk a group of survivors with several ex-soldiers including myself tactically conveying our surrounds every second. He lost a firefight with his KZ against Makarovs and pumpguns. It was beautiful to see him leg it down an open field though. Shooting him in the back was probably even more satisfying for my buddy who ended his adventure on my command. Long story short. A small (later large) group of survivors went from being malnourished, nearly unarmed and cold to having more than enough beans for everybody..All due to nearly systematical slaying of bandits (you guys seem to hang around the same places a lot.. So prone to ambushes). Thanks for the beans, guys! P.S. We never lost a man. Even when bandits ambushed us with half our group on a bio break.
  13. > ex-soldiers including myself tactically conveying our surrounds every second >ex soldiers tactically conveying our surrounds every second >ex soldiers our surrounds >our surrounds really eh. Hate to break it to you there buddy but that mil training you got, doesn't mean fuck all in a video game. So please stop referencing it as if it does. That and most of these "elite" ambush/killing stories are coming from people playing on servers where you still have your hip fire crosshairs ffs. You must be new here. This is a simulator, not CoD.

    MERGED: Everything poop and pee

Am I the only one wondering why you were peeing in your neighbors yard?
  15. Me and my group (Coalition) usually do not kill people for any reasons other than if fired upon. However last night we lost a fight due to extreme server lag (I couldn't direct my men because we all had a red chain and everyone was running in place). We basically came out of red chain all dead after having one of our look-outs killed and we were advancing on the position. When I logged on they told me someone had killed them again by logging off when they approached him and when they turned their backs he had logged back in and shot 2 or more of them in the back. Now when I logged in today the mood was obviously not that good. We felt like we had been killed off and lost a fight, even though lag and meta-gaming had cost us these fights so I let my group go balls to the walls murder mode just to show them how many times we actually SPARE peoples lives instead of killing them. We killed about 10 people today, 2 which had advanced on our position, 2 sniped in the head and the rest was random people that fired upon us or were spotted. We sent a group of 4+ running away as well when we opened fire and they never realized where it was coming from, seizing story sobor as our prize. Nobody died. Obviously some players might be mad that they got straight up murdered by a group without even seeing them but I wanted to show my men what we would be capable of if we would actually shoot people instead of approaching them and asking them to leave.
  16. Hey Echo. I listened to about 30 minutes of a past broadcast but it was only songs. I tried fast forwarding around the recording and all I found was songs, really. You would say: 'This song is requested by' once in a while but that was all I heard. I realize that when holed up in a church in cherno, you don't get much info unless on side channel, but I feel that not enough info was being relayed. Something must have happened in those 3 hours that was worth noting to your listeners. I like the idea and I hope you keep improving it!
  17. By now many members of UK6 and EU4 know that the Coalition of the South have claimed Story Sobor and the area around it (2km radius) to be OUR territory. This area is under our control and we mean no harm. If you find yourself in our territory alone or with a friend we will help you both and escort you out as we have done before. We try to treat aggression as professionally as we can, although that is not always possible. Please bear in mind that shooting at the COA will result in death of your character. Also, please bear in mind that not stopping when the COA asks you to stop may result in troops storming your location. DO NOT PANIC. These troops are only there to make sure that you realize that your attention is needed. We have many dead people under our belt, but we beg you to listen to our orders when you enter our territory. We have been marked as murderers by some, who panic and shoot us. I've been shot several times myself but it always ends the same. The violator gets murdered before he can finish anyone off. If you should succeed in finishing one of us off, you will find yourself in a BLACK LIST that we keep. All players in our BLACK LIST are shot on sight. Please keep our of our area or only come in when you are in need of assistance and alone. We are glad to help, but we take no chances with threats. -Coalition.
  18. Good day to you all. By now, many people on UK6 know me and my group counting many merry men. We have accomplished many things with teamwork. Bandits are no match for us and triggerhappy survivors are dealt with even quicker. We are a group lead by IRL ex-soldiers and anyone is welcome to try their luck with our group. This group has so far only been a random hunting party but I have decided to take it up a notch. We will be fighting for sovereignty, respect and glory. Our status is FRIENDLY. That means we will not shoot you if you are minding your own business trying to get by. We have even given bandits leeway (although some end up with a bullet in the face, because they don't listen, usually). When we say fighting for sovereignty, we mean that when you enter a later announced territory, you are on OUR turf. If you find yourself spotted in our territory, you will be escorted out. Any resistance will be dealt with in the form of lead. Any consequences that your actions may have (such as getting a member of the Coalition killed) will most likely land you a spot on our blacklist which makes adventuring for you much harder. As a member of the Coalition, you will learn combat formations, perimeters, general combat discipline, navigation worthy of a patrolman and much, much more. Together we are proud of having minimal casualties, alas we have only lost people to bugs so far, despite having been ambushed by bandits, stalked by others and up against the horde numerous times. We are currently residing around the southern area of Chernerus but we have patrols all around Chernerus. For you to join, you must be at least 16 years old. You must have a microphone and be willing to use it with teamspeak. You must not be on our blacklist which is a list containing names of men who have betrayed, robbed or killed anyone in the Coalition. These men are shot on sight or kneecapped if seen crawling through the horde. I will assign each member a specific role. You can become: Grunt. Everyone starts out as a grunt, eventually working their way up. A fetcher. Fetchers are men who excel at fetching things without others noticing. These men know exactly how to avoid the horde and will return safely to the group with bags full of goodies. This role is essential for our survival. A runner. Runners excel at navigating through terrain. When somebody is hurt far away from our position or if we simply need to have another position supplied or even having a member of the Coalition retrieved from enemy territory (or any location) to the group, the runner does the job quickly and smoothly. The runner knows exactly where he is at all times due to his skill with a map and a compass (and the terrain). Patrolman. This is an elite units of soldiers whom I hand-pick to join me or other officers/sergeants (when recruited) on special patrols. These patrols are usually of heavy importance such as setting up a forward base or scavenging loot in bandit covered area such as airfields, ruins, deer stands etc. where a runner is of no use as he would get killed. This elite unit knows combat in and out. They know how to check their sectors, maintain formation, identify their targets through ADDRAC (Alert, Direction, Description, Range, Assignment, Control) and much more. When not on mission, these men serve as general soldiers. Sergeant. These are patrolmen that have shown themselves worthy of leading other patrolmen into battle. When not on mission, these men serve as general sergeants commanding their respective group. Officer. These men have shown themselves worthy of giving orders instead of taking orders. These men show their worth, proving to be tactical thinkers by bettering me in my decisions through their suggestions. These men know the game in and out and they know how to maintain a force. These men must also know combat as well as tactic. Soldier. These men are our general soldiers. They excel in combat above all. These men can obey combat orders under stress and are able to maintain a perimeter for extended amounts of time. Medic. These men carry medical supplies and stay back when a fight ensues. Wounded will be dragged to the medic if they can not make it themselves. These men also function as soldiers (or Patrolmen if the Medic is already a Patrolman). More roles are to be announced and being assigned a role does not have to be permanent. Members can be assigned roles that are different to their current role if they meet the requirements and are willing to switch. Members can wish to be assigned to a certain role (although officers, patrolmen and sergeants are not up for grabs by just anyone) and that will affect my decision but does not have a final say at all in what role these members are assigned. If you are interested in joining the Coalition of the South you can add me on steam: ''bjarni DK'' and we will have a chat. Remember that we are located on UK6 and sometimes EU4.
