    Respawning at base

    Returning player here - been having loads of fun with the survival aspect of the game, but have I've been wondering about respawning. I'm sure there has been plenty of discussions about bases and respawning, but I was wondering if there has been any official word on respawning in other places than the designated starting areas? With base building taking shape it feels like a natural step that you'd be able to spawn there as well, like other similar survival games - if that is the intention from the developers. I can see argument both ways, but I've yet to see anything specific from the devs regarding it.

    Greetings! This is my first post here and I'm sad it has to be this kind of post. I can play DayZ fine when starting from the regular launcher, but whenever I try to use Six updater, or DayZ commander, they won't work. I get CLR Error: 80004005 when I start any of those programs. I've tracked down the problem, and I can get it to work If i make a clean swipe and remove .NET and reinstall it without rebooting. Then they work fine, but as soon as I hit windows update, it prompts me to do a couple of security updates for .NET, and then I'm back to it not working again. I've tried tons of different methods for removing and re installing, but I'm not really comfortable not updating those "security updates". I realize this might not be the right place to put this, since my game still works, but I really like the features those two programs have and I figure I'll give it a go on the forums. Any help appreciated. I'm not really in the mood for re-installing windows, but I fear that's my only solution.
