Apparently there's a bug that causes vehicles that were fixed up in 1.7.2.5 not to save. I believe vehicles fixed up before this update will still save.

Prepare for snapped arm.

Was that a sexy British Police Car?

Your friend has a hacked M249 SAW as it doesn't allow him to have a backpack. I watched it.

Can Dayz Zombies be played offline? & Cheats Question
JohnCD95 replied to brettuk's topic in New Player Discussion
Playing DayZ offline, singleplayer will be boring as hell. -
We were looking for ages to find a tyre to fix this bus, finally found one. Then we were running back to the bus, so I started shooting the zombies, then my friend walked in the way of my gun and .... boom, headshot. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oi0PFtMLjCg

I would never leave my camp in an open field :o -
Some people still manage to save their vehicles tho, so does this bug only happen to some cars/some servers/ some people?

Today Me and 2 mates managed to fix up a helicopter. We started flying around and I spotted a camp in the forests. So we landed and went to look around. Moo got shot at by someone which startled the helicopter, which then crashed lol. Took us ages to fix it up and it was just gone, so quick :D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7fr1Qe0eQyU

Well we knew the enemy was near their base, so we had to rush, there was roughly 8 of them as we went back later in the day. My mate told me to get the red one as he likes that vehicle.

Here's a video when lag occurs when you are in a helicopter. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B0_u_1MySqA

Some hacker gave everyone a .50cal sniper with loads of ammo. The hacker then made everyones leg break.

Ok, I recently heard that the main priority at the moment is to add dogs to the game. Currently there's so many bugs on DayZ, such as vehicles not saving, people randomly getting knocked out, peoples backpack disappearing when putting a ghillie suit on, etcetera. These bugs are luring people away from DayZ. Bugs should be the main priority. Fix the bugs first, then add more features. Before you know it, there will be too many bugs to fix, then you will be having to delete features to find the core of a certain bug. I script for SA-MP servers and I know from experience that it's best to fix bugs first.
-
I don't need to chill, as I said I am not complaining. I am merely suggesting that before adding new features, you should concentrate on fixing bugs first.
-
Well as I have been trying to say. Do you really think it can be released as a standalone with all these bugs? This is why bugs should be the main priority to fix.
-
I don't know why people troll these threads. As if it happens to them when they get a load of gear, I'm sure they'll be mad too. It's happened to me far too many times. Far too often do hackers ruin the game play for everyone.
-
Ok, well that attitude is not the correct approach he is doing here. He wants to release it as a standalone game I hear, well he needs to sort the way he approaches this. Of course bug fixing is boring, like I said, I know as I script too. But it needs to be done, you can't ignore them and just build up on the bugs. Once another feature is released, more then likely there will be another bug, so this is why you shouldn't ignore the older ones. Not necessarily. Major bugs that DayZ has needs to be fixed, that would make headlines there. As I said, these bugs are luring people away, I have seen people make threads about it. I'm not complaining. I just think bugs should be the main priority. Or, adding new features whilst fixing the bugs...

Happened to me this, I then realised it was a hackers weapon. As the guy that I stole it off was a teleport hacker/ spawning weapons hacker. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C1UyVjAzFMA

Me and a few friends managed to fix up a helicopter. We flew it back to our base, saved it, quit the server for a bit. Came back 2 hours later, server didn't respond for around 20 seconds, so maybe it was restarted. Back to the point, we saved the helicopter, so why did it disappear? Thanks.
-
Well funny as you say this. I managed to save a V3S using a 1.7.2.5 server a few days ago, that didn't disappear.
-
Damn, tooks us a good few hours fixing it up lol. To be honest, they should be concentrating on fixing bugs before adding new features. I guess, this is a waiting game, until it's fixed :]
