Actually Chernarus is exactly what makes me dislike the whole DayZ concept. A Zombieinfection in a place that persists of 85% woods?? Hell no... You have to run for half an hour to reach Elektro/Cherno. There you gather up food drink, low power guns, rucksack and head north. There you grab bigger guns. After 4 hours of playing you are equipped properly, then what do you do? Nothing... You cant run around start shooting Zombies cause you will run out of ammo fast. Doing PvP is not what I want to do when i play a Zombie Survival Game. There is no sense to play any further than leaving Cherno. Lingor gives you the opportunity to find crap everywhere, shoot as much as you want. You gather stuff fast, but you dont care losing it. It has in fact no Endgame either, but at least i dont have to run half a day to grab stuff i just lost because one stupid moron camped in some bushes just to take out every player he sees... Chernarus is not the place to be... Anyways, if you enjoy Chernarus, go ahead. I just hope they freakin add some content to the game or in the end it will have been nothing but a nice "could have been...". Ps.: Anyone of you ever played Arma ACE/ACRE advanced combat environment? This is what DayZ needs to be more realistic.talking with a located voice in ingame chat, using radios etc....

this! drop some ammo boxes at some hidden spots with some crappy weapons and food/drink. maybe seperate food from drinks. Maximum weapon size would be handgun, limited ammo. then we start and the last survivor wins :D

Got all necessary versions installed, still cant join... Edit: Same as Monkee, everytime you restarted it also the last few days this happened. Some ppl can join others can't, something seems to be very strange :( Edit2: Just found out that even though i updated via dayz commander, my DayZ version still is 1.7.2.5(.33). Does that mean its 1.7.2.5 DayZ and .33 Lingor? im doint the update manually now... why so many updates thats just way too confusing and nothing useful is being changed anyways... whatever ;)

NOOO :D It took me about 6 hours of farming to get my LMG :'( Lets hope you are able to transfer the chars ;) Are there any changes in loot incoming with the Bliss edition of your Server application? Car Spawns, weapon spawns etc?

The reason i play Lingor is because its easier to gear up. You never run around for hours without seeing stuff, wherever you move within 2km there is a good military loot spot. I voted for yes, but I dont have a camp on the server. I'd dare to enter a PVP Zone, unlucky i mostly play at night and most players who move into the PVP zones have got NVGs so it would be an uneven battle. Free the world of NVGs _D Could you enhance the Zombie spawns manually? That'd be fun ;) like 100 Zombies in S A at the supermarket :D

dont worry about that patch, its only gonna clean up the artifacting glitches which i never suffered in Lingor anyways^^ EDIT: Okay, nvm, they also fixed the tent saving so bring it on :D

Yapyap, just played on it and there were some funny guys online but what matters even more, an admin caring about his server :D *thumbs up* Ps.: I had to figure out entering military zones (of which there are a lot) is not as easy as in Chernarus ;)

Player count is increasing, but the actual number of people really playing the game and not just having it installed is decreasing heavily. 10 days ago 146.000 5 days ago: 138.000 today 120.000 players in the last 24h Guess many people are just going to wait for the standalone to be released because at this point theres too much hacking to care about survival issues.

Honestly, i wouldnt care at all about AS50s if there werent tons of teleport-hackers teleporting around the world shooting you. Most of the "legit" AS50 bandits at Sniper Hill (Elektro) for example, are too low in skill to hit anything anyways. Just keep zig-zaging.

meeh... you dont get - humanity for killing bandits, so your (OP) complete post is bs. Bandit kills -> # of bandit kills increases, nothing happens to your humanity Survivor kills -> # of murders increases, you gain - humanity. OP is a troll.

i bet 90% of the players dont even reckon the difference between a hero and a common survivor skin...

I feel your pain, the same happened to me too. I think it might be best to just leave this alpha as-is and wait for the standalone to be published. Otherwise I fear that I might not want to play the game anymore in a few months.

The game experience is supposed to be realistic? We cannot communicate with anybody more than some meters away from us, cars run out of fuel, but we can spawn on a new world with the same gear at the same position we left the last one? YES from me, theres no obvious reason you should be able to move your character that easily from one Server (one "World") to another. Want to play on another world? Start from zero!

Dear BattleEye, let me tell you some stories, they all share one beginning and one end but yet they happen everyday everywhere. Imagine you tried to play DayZ, this is what would happen to you: You spawn, a hacker kills you instantly. You spawn, make it into Cherno, a hacker teleports you into the see. You spawn make it in and out of Cherno, Hacker teleports onto you before you reach Stary. You spawn, make it to the NWA, loot a cco, move direction Cherno to take revenge on some bandits but a Hacker teleports you to the fields with all the other guys from the server and nukes you. You spawn check for the boogers in your nose, ... you know the end of the story. Please BattleEye, start banning hackers and stop just logging them to maybe ban them in 2 months, it will be too late for the game :'( This shall be my wish for today :) Yours sincerely SoUndSo

I "SoUndSo", am willingly to have "Dayz Elite" assassinated because he's got no friends in rl and spends too much time playing DayZ taking it way too serious. Someone needs to free him from his suffering! Edit: Just for concerns of fairness, THIS is the wrong Place to post that, thats what the Bandit HQ ist for.
