What the people above me say is invalid. Any 7200RPM HDD will do the trick. 30FPS at 1280x720 which is all you really need unless you want to get really fancy with 1080p which is unnecessary. Your write speed is what matters, not your processor or graphics card. If you get a write speed of 60mb/s, you're fine. Also, make sure that HDD isn't running your operating system, otherwise it will cause lag.

And what's the point of asking on a FM broadcasting forum, if most people there have no clue what I'm on about as they are usually transmitting with 5-10 watts? While I am at 5 kilowatts.

There are boards dedicated for this but they're only supplying to legal radio stations. Also, we'll be running a shit ton of things at once, Cubase, Melodyne, Stereo Tool, Breakaway, Vegas etcetera. Broadcasting, recording, editing, producing and what not. By other countries I mean France, The Netherlands, Germany, Ireland and Denmark. We only do the broadcasting bit a few times a year though. Due to the high risk. And FM signal doesn't degrade rapidly when you have more power and height than most legal stations do.

Swap the GPU with a HD 6850 or HD 6870 and you should be good to go. But as mZLY says, don't rush things, even though the HD 6000 series is perfectly fine to run any game on max.
