So yeah, 1.7.2.5 brought back humanity, i mean it's always been there but now it's in your debug monitor so you can see how bad you are. And since Rocket added "heroes" and "bandits" again i'd like to play a good guy. However that's impossible with my current humanity. I'd love for a reset at humanity :(. This is normal. 2500 humanity is DEFAULT. It's considered Neutral. If you start killing people and your humanity goes down you'll become a bandit, if you start helping people like bandaging them and giving blood packs and so on then your humanity will raise and you'll become a hero. I don't know at what humanity you become a hero since i've never experienced it sadly :(

You wont lose your ghillie as far as i know, i had one and didnt lose it. It seems bandit skin is only visible on civilian clothing, maybe on the camo clothing aswell since it doesn't cover your head.

No, if you create a new profile the only thing that changes in game is your name. edit* Just died, darn sniper from nowhere :( I spawned in with a bandit bandana on me. It's like the old bandit skin but i ONLY have the head. The body of the bandit skin is gone, it's only the towel-wrapped head that's showing.

This is incorrect. I just killed 10 zombies and carefully watched my debug monitor but i did not get + humanity from killing zombies. HOWEVER, i remember way back when you had humanity, you gained +humanity over time by doing nothing, it was not much but over time you gained it slowly. I'm thinking whoever made that post you are referring to just killed zombies at the same time he gained some "passive + humanity" and drew the conclusion that zombies gave it to him.

Yeah, only no. I got killed, went to my tent, fully geared. When you play as much as i do you got a few tents scattered across servers scattered across chernarus, all with decent gear. Mostly close to the coast if i were to die.

They come when someone crashes a helicopter. The whole place turns on fire and you can see a fire covering your screen from far away.

I'm up to 400 hours of gametime myself. And here's how i solve my issues. Hacking - Don't play on US or Sweden servers, cause they are filled with hackers, during my time i've seen maybe 5 hackers in total, and whenever i smell a hacker i logout and play on another server. I play mostly on LU servers. Dissconnecting. Aim for the head and keep your aim true. If you start spraying all over the place you'll scare him and he'll log. If you take it easy, take your time and place a few good shots, you'll kill him before he can dissconnect. And even if you kill him and he manages to DC and deny you his loot, you should still be happy cause you reseted an abusing players progress and he'll have to start all over again :)

So today me and my friend had the most luck in a week, we found 4 cars, yes. Four. We stashed one in a pretty bad spot, it was a blue van so we didn't really care for it. We drive away with our 2 white pickups and one military truck. We stash them close to the end of the map. We take everything we don't need right now and put it in the white pickups, then we all get inside the military truck and is about to drive away, then we hear it, helicopter sounds. I get out and i see it, it's slowing down, it probably just saw our cars not us. It's still in the air, i scroll to get the range but Auto-rangefinder was disabled. I didn't think i'd have time to use my own rangefinder so i set my zeroing at 400 since that's what it felt like. I start shooting with my as50 towards the chopper, i got lucky it was exactly at 400M's since i hit it where i aimed it. I get 10 rounds in the chopper, while reloading it starts flying away, my friends shoot at it aswell but with a m16 and a m4a1. They say they didnt hit much. I'm 100% certain i got 10 rounds in the chopper tho (using m107 rounds not the as50 nato rounds). Since i saw that it hit i'm certain i got 10 rounds in it. My friends got around 4 maybe 5 shots in it. So while reloading i look at it and it's not even smoking or anything, looks the same it did before. It got away before i had reloaded. According to this chart http://i.imgur.com/BuY29.jpg The as50 with m107 rounds does 37k damage per hit. Take that x10. I did 370k damage and my friends got a few shots on it aswell, let's round it up to 400k damage. So we got around 400.000 damage on the chopper but i still didnt see any smoke or anything? -Anyone know how much Health a chopper has? PS: I really gotta get myself some nato rounds.. imagine doing 174k damage with one shot, INSANE! Peace out. (before anyone says "aim for the pilot" i couldnt, i was shooting on it from behind, towards the tail of the chopper, all my shots hit the bottom of it tho, under the chopper.

ONE THING AND ONE THING ONLY! If he brings back bandit morphing then he'd better make damn sure that he resets humanity. There's no way in HELL that i'll be able to get positive humanity again unless it gets resetted. When he removed bandit morphing, no one trusted eachother. It was a deathmatch war. I'd like the feature back tho, it's impossible to team up with anyone random atm. The only guys that don't kill you are your IRL friends or friends on Teamspeak.

Protip. Use a bike and ram the ATV repeatedly. sometimes it flips back so you can drive, sometimes it bugs so that the ATV flies in the air crashing down 1000's meter away. Out of 3 attempt, 1 flipped back and 2 flew to hell.

I think the best gear i've ever had is the gear i have now. as 50 equipped, L85 in backpack. Nv goggles equipped and 1 in backpack. Rangefinder Gps All toolbelt items actually. That's sort of the perfect gear for me atm since i'm sniping. The L85 is great for spotting, then i just switch back to the as 50, use rangefinder to see how far, and take the shot. I've had the M249 and M4A1 cco sd and the FN fal with NV etc, i've had every weapon in the game but this set i have now is the best for me, in my opinion. Also i once had as50 thermal scope, got it from a hacker, all i can say is this.... MY GOD that gun is OP. I'm so sad i died with it =( I was even playing super carebear with it, then a hacker goes into the server and kill errryone! ERRYONE!

Hello. So as far as i know the only way to dupe items is by putting something in à tent or vehicle, saving it and then taking it out without saving. So how about implementing à FORCE autosave whenever you remove something from à tent or vehicle? If it's possible i think that duping wont be à problem no more!

I did this, you will dupe your bag. I had coyote backpack and found a ghillie suit, i dropped it and put on the ghillie. Then i had a new coyote backpack on me but my old one was still on the ground. My friend got the new coyote bag.

When using the DMR, atleast in my experience, i never waste more than 10 ammo before i logout. If i see someone i waste 1, MAX 3 shots to kill him. And i don't camp noobs in the south, i'm up north and i rarely see players. Therefore when i used to have a DMR i kept 2 mags for it only. Since it always refreshed when i logged out. But just in case i had one for backup. Now i'm using the as50, since it's a 100% 1hit1kill with this weapon i keep 2 mags, this is 20 rounds. You really don't need more. Unless you're sniping zombies..

You didn't waste anything to play dayZ. DayZ Alpha mod is FREE for now. The standalone is expected in september but right now you don't have to pay anything. OT - Love that choppers are back, really missed thoose =) Also, all in all, this update will ROCK!

While i understand that you would not like just another PVP game think about it like this. PvP adds SO MUCH TO THE GAME. When you got decent gear and you hear someone nearby shooting or even someone shooting at you, or like when you're running and then you see a survivor the same second he sees you, everything stops for like 1 second and then you'll either murder him, get killed or become allies. My god i've never seen such an intense game as this, really, sometimes i can see that my hands are shaking after combat. This only happends in PvP tho, it's a vital part of the game imo.
