Is this just happening on 1.7.1.5 ? Try updating to the lastest dayZ version and the latest Beta version and see if it works. Also remember, when you loot new items you MUST stay online on the server for ATLEAST a couple minutes, i think personally that staying online for 5 minutes after i have looted something always works. If you logout instantly or shortly after you've looted anything then it will disappear.

I agree with the other guy. During my 300 hours of gametime i only played on DE, LU, EU, SE servers. And i've always heard people complaining about hackers, however i've only seen 1 hacker ever, that was on an LU server. Then i tried the US servers, i tried 3 different full ones, every single one had hackers. I logged in cherno, the first 2 servers, cherno was just on fire and i could hear a sniper shooting with what i believe to be the m107. The last us server i went too everyone just got instakilled. I'm never playing on US servers again.

That's kind of funny :D I killed someone pretty recently with this exact gear, he logged in ontop of me in cherno. Loving the AS50 :D

If not a bug then it was probably a hacker that gave you those stuffs. Probably random aswell, Probably at the same time you logged in or at the same time you logged out last time. In either way, you got lucky, YE!

I saw someone else write here and i TOTALLY agree to what he said regarding alt+f4 people. If they get shot and then disconnect, put them in shock and make them bleed alot more than normal when they login again, WITH the logout timer. So if someone gets shot and logs out, he's screwed unless he got friends to back him up. Sure it sucks for those players who are running solo BUT since those players are abusing the system we should not weep for them. I like what you did about the server hopping tho, that's actually nice =) Might stop people from going to server to server just clearing out all the good loot spots. All in all, great update!

Doubt it. Since it wasn't YOU that scripted it in i doubt you'd take the fall for it. I have no idea but i would assume that they can see what ID hacked the weapons, and what he did to hack. If he gave everyone on the server hacked weapons then no one should be banned since they were actually the victims of a hacker. Even if the hacker did some good for you =)

I LOVE IT. Especially when you've got the rangefinder, you go on a veteran server with no built in rangefinder, use your Binoculars to see someone, then grab yo sniper and pop that ass! Feels great. Doing this has given me and my team insane equipment. I'm the designated sniper, i shoot em, my buddy loots em. And we've got another backup sniper that lies about 300 meters from me concealed, protecting me if someone sneaks up behind me, and if he should get killed i'll know and i'll guard his body. So nice.

If you could then trust me, we would have won the zombie apocalypse by now. I at one time had around 700 zombie kills before i died. Total zombie count on the server was around 300, that means i could of cleared 2 whole servers from every zombie in the game. They need to respawn, otherwise the game wont work.

HAHAHA I loled when i saw you at the ground saying "hey can you hear me" Not even screaming, just talking casually "Can you hear me? Hey." and the funny thing was the chopper was at the top of the hotel building :P

I heard snipers in cherno, i went up to a tower and saw 2 ghillie suit survivors sniping people, I use my trusty FN FAL and make short work of them. I run up to loot and i found 2x as50 thermal and 2 rangefinders and 1 NV goggle and 1 ghillie suit and a coyote backpack. I found my ghillie suits on bodies that i brutally murdered. Every single one of my ghillie suits that i've found, is ghillie suits i've taken from dead bodies, bodies that i made dead. I Kilt Dem dawgs, i've got too much swag too handle.

How do you know? If the world has gone to shit and you are out alone with a gun and spot another guy, would you rush to him saying " Haay i'm friendly let's team up!" I sure wouldnt. If i was in a world like that i'd have a group that i trusted (RL friends) And then trust no one else, everyone else is just walking supply caches.

Reality is, if you would of seen HIM login, you would of SHOT him before he shot you. He just did the same. Stop whining.

This sorta happend to me once. While me and my friends was online everyone on the server got a bazooka with 50 rounds in it. We fired off like 20 shots, then we dropped the bazookas cause we were afraid we'd get banned :P A hacker gave it to everyone on the server, it was an EU server, dont remember wich one, he did this text across the screen saying "Hahahahaha!" And then everyone recieved a bazooka. I was at the highest tower in cherno, saw like 5 different people down in cherno shooting bazookas everywhere, was crazy :D

This should happend sometime. When i was new, i was getting shot at by everyone as soon as they saw me. Once i learned the basics of the game i became a bandit for 2 reasons - Zombies wasn't really a threat Bandit skin looked awesome. That was a long time ago, now you don't have an awesome skin for being a bandit, and zombies is actually alot more dangerous than they were before. BUT Whenever i start a new life, if i find someone and team up with them, they know that i'm a "badguy" since my heart is beating as fack, therefore he'll never trust me and might even shoot me the moment he gets a gun. I love fighting people in dayz. There's no rush like there is in dayz, i swear sometimes my hands are shaking because it's so intense. This only happends when i fight other players tho, and that only happends up north. Whenever i'm down south it's so easy to kill people it ain't even fun. Up north 80% has good weapons and is experienced players, they are harder and more dangerous. They also DC when they get shot. Well well, it's still awesome. Back to my point. I think that with all the changes that has been happening the humanity level should be restored. I'm easily up to -500.000 humanity now, i had -200.000 when you could still see it, and since then i've murdered so, so many people. I'd love to get a reset of humanity, this would allow me to play DayZ in the present time and not stick to the old way of playing. That would make people be able to trust me, since my heart wouldnt hit so fast. Besides, you removed bandit skin and made zombies alot harder. I'd love to play a non-bandit for a change, since bandit before was awesome, now, not so much unless you just wanna murder people, then it's awesome. What do you guys think of this suggestion? Yay or nay?

This is possible, however. I think (if i remember right) giving blood packs to other players awards you the most humanity, and that is 300 humanity. As i said i'm around or maybe even over -500.000 by now. This would take a very, very, very long time.

What i'm reading. You were camping the airfield, you see someone and you shoot at him. Then you notice that someone has snuck up on you and fires against you, so you DC in order to make sure you don't loose your stuff.

Are they ONLY hacking on US servers? I mostly play around on EU, DE and SE servers. I've played over 300 hours gametime and i've only seen 1 hacker, EVER. And his hack was putting a text in the middle of the screen for everyone saying "Hahahahhaha" and then giving EVERY player online a bazooka with 50 rounds. I was on top of cherno sniping people, 30 seconds later all you could hear was bombs going off, was actually kind of funny. You guys seems to have some REAL issues with hackers :o In my experience they're pretty uncommon.

I think they would hear the gunshots better than one man crying out loud. And if a guy would be screaming in pain, the zombies would most likely go for him, not whoever killed him and gave em free meat.

Hello. I've always updated DayZ the way i always have, manually. So i did it the same when 1.7.2 got released. But i couldnt connect to any servers, so i installed a new beta patch called "ARMA2_OA_Build_94444.zip". I installed it by running the .exe file and then started the game. I still couldnt join any servers. So i installed the newest at the time called "ARMA2_OA_Build_94700.zip". But STILL i can't join any servers. So i tried using the SixLauncher, and updating via that launcher made it so that i could connect to servers. So for now i'm playing using that but i wanna play on steam, not on sixlauncher so i'd like help to fix this problem. - Since i updated via the sixlauncher i figured it'd be okay to start from steam now, it didnt work. I went into my @dayZ folder and found a folder called .rsync. I figured it had to be from SixLauncher so i removed it and tried via steam again, but it still didnt work. (BTW The thing that is not working is that, when i select a server in the list, there pops up a red X to the left and it says that the version is either 1.60.44444 or 1.60.94700. There IS some servers that is running 1.60 but still is in 1.7.2 of dayz, but that's so few servers that it's hard to play with friends.) So i opened arma 2 again and checked at the bottom right corner in the main menu and it said i had "1.60.93825". Well, there's the problem, now i gotta figure out how to update it from 1.60.93825 ---> 1.60.44444/94700. Help appreciated.

I like it, i could see how others wouldnt like it tho. Maybe if you did something to cover the mountains in this game in snow? So that you have both parts? Will probably not work. Good suggestion tho :)

Hurr durr in real life people can get shot in head and sometime survive if they really lucky but ingame i sometime get killed by 1 gunshot, this is not realistic and im mad now. Dude, as he said, once you're under 9k blood you are "weak" and if a zombie smacks you good in the face, in your jaw for example with all his power, you are going to pass out. Now you didnt die from a single zombie hit, you got knocked out by a single zombie hit, then they started eating at you that's why you died. You talking bout realistic? In real life boxers can knock out a person with one hit, now take in fact that zombies are "mindless" and hit you for all of their power, WHILE you were weak. I really don't see the problem here. Stop qqing, really.
