Pre the handgun nerf I always rolled with a 1911. Single body shot and Zeds are down. Now I like a G17 or a PDW. just because they hold more ammo in each magazine. If Ikeep calm and line up the Zeds indoors I can average around two shots to kill each zed, which is a mixture of headshots and bodyshots.

Good luck with it. I love that people go for more than just PVP in DayZ.

Ghille is more scary for many players but it really depends on your play style. If your out to help others and need to establish trust then keep the hero skin. If you need to be stealthy and avoid players then the ghille is the obvious choice. I wear a ghille for most of my interviews as it's not about me but about the other player so I want to stay out of sight. I can tell you many of them freak out when we meet up and I'm wearing a ghille, and this is after a bunch of messages back and forth to establish a meet place and time.

I'd be happy with Hero's getting an added edge. Maybe extra blood so they have a better chance of survival. Anything that would make the game less punishing to be good would be an improvement IMO.

I'd say removed. Barbed wire seems to be only used by people trolling - ie locking off good loot spawns in Cherno & Elektro for new spawns. Doesn't stop zeds. Can be removed if player has toolbox, to me it seems underused expect for the trolling instances above.

By starter weapon I'm assuming you mean the first weapon you want to find rather than have when you fresh spawn in, In this case is an axe, always an axe. Although I never PVP so for me the axe allows me to kill zeds quietly, not worry about ammo, and it's pretty powerful. Downside is anyone who wants to PVP me will kill me.

A great story about betrayal and the lengths people will go to to exact revenge.

I don't know what you're talking about. I don't recall being kicked for a vehicle script and I certainly don't script. The admins, who know more about the server than you a player, have attested to that. I think you better let it go. You're either mistaken or some bug has occured on your screen. I'm sorry you got hacked, stalked, teleported or whatever had happened. It's crap like that which is ruining the game and I would never be a part of it. You are assuming something that's false based on little to no evidence so I'm considering this matter closed. In future I recommend reporting all hacks privately or just give times and locations without throwing in false haxusations. Also screenshots and videos are very helpful.

Oh no it's happened already. I get a bit of a rep and the Cherno Journo has haxusations. Thank you Frostyvegi for the defense through the logs. The Cherno Journo is a lone wolf Aussie so I wasn't rolling with any other players. As for the constant deaths It's tough being a Journo, I get killed more often than not. I don't hack, or script let be honest these kiddies aren't hackers, and certainly didn't follow anyone around. I have a vid I'm uploading to YouTube of the possible hacking I saw, UAZ driving around through walls and looked like teleporting. Of course this could have just been desync but as you see on the video, once it's uploaded, I don't have any yellow or red links. Medic (not bandit) not sure why you thought it was me as AU24 doesn't have tags. Of course any player can say they are any other player so maybe your hacker said he was me. The issue with being the Cherno Journo is my reputation so don't throw haxusations around without some sort of proof. My endgame involves interviewing other players and recording their stories. I like to either have an organized meet with a player at an agreed upon location or just ride into Cherno and Elektro on my bike and try to recruit a player for an interview. It's pretty scary but very rewarding as well. Met two great guys today at Elektro where we needed to clear out 40 zeds before we could do the interview. Here's a screengrab from that one.

Jason hacker go old so fast

I walked into Balota airport on a new spawn looking to gear up. ATc tower nothing, hangers just junk, get to the little sheds off the side of the hangers and bam waiting in one is a Survivor with an AKM pointed straight at me. I think well that's it close my eyes and wait for the shots. Nothing. I open my eyes and he's till there assessing me. He doesn't ask if I'm friendly he just gives me the AKM and some supplies and goes on his way. His name was Father Tom and he plays on Australian and NZ servers and this is all he does. I wanted to interview him about his first murder but couldn't because he's never killed anyone. This is how he plays the game just helping new spawns and handing out guns and supplies. He doesn't judge, if you have a bandit skin he'll still give you a gun. I don't know if he's atoning for real life sins or just role playing but it's pretty cool. Back in the days of side chat anytime he got killed the side chat would go wild with questions. Who killed you, where were they and armed with that information almost every other survivor nearby would hunt for the killer. I'm not a religious man but god bless you Father Tom.
