So many of my interviews have been about the negative side of Dayz specifically murder and betrayal. But there are positives too - the random acts of kindness where a stranger will help you out without any malice or intent. The time someone runs from halfway across teh map to give you morphine and you don't shoot him in teh back. The picking up of new survivors from the coast which doesn't end in a gladiator death match with hatchets. These are the times you've teamed up with a random survivor and had a great experience with them - the true survival stories. These are also great stories and ones that should be recorded. So I ask you fellow Survivors share with me your stories of kindness and teamwork in the other brutal world of Chernarus

I do this I do this with every vehicle I find on a map except a bicycle - I like to keep the bicycle to get around the map for interviews. Do you find that people don't trust you - So many people think you have a satchel charge planted in it. The best spot to drop these off is in Kamenka which helps with the lighthouse suicide rate.

Thank you CQF for the good you do in Chernarus. I had the pleasure of interviewing one of your members a while back. As Demyan epitomizes the high moral code and qualities that the CQF stands for. I share with you all his interview.

Did the same thing with a Motorbike on Lingor. Took a while but I eventually got it out. I think it has something to do with the tides.

I'll second that. I have meet a lot of good people who help you in this game, especially when I was a starting out noob. As the OP says - have faith people. Hopefully the standalone will reward the good guys.

The next interview in the series is up. This one was very different as the meet wasn't planned and I just rolled into Elektro hoping for the best. This is what happened.

If there's one thing I think should be removed from the standalone it's the ability to hide bodies - it's unrealistic and i find a poor game mechanic. But instead you should be able to drag, move bodies, I just hate how suddenly a body with all my gear disappears into the earth and you can spend minutes running around listening to the flies.

Wow OP. I must say you take role playing to a new level. My role play is to imagine that I'm a journalist dumped in the godforsaken part of the Russian Coast. I travel around meeting survivors and recording their stories. I leave posters up in all the major cities and return to see if anyone has responded. If they have we exchange notes to set a meet time and place. Otherwise I ride around on my bicycle and try to find survivors in the large cities. My character has died lots of time, but I've never killed a person.

Yeah could be hackers. I've seen them teleport an entire servers vehicles, fixed and broken, including bikes back to the coast.

Just wait until you select the zombie skin.
