Out of my group of 3 I am the sniper / town overwatch. I carry a CCO SD and AS50. As one has a the 249 and the other has the normal CCO I dont engauge zombies or other people if I can help it. However there have a been a few times where my friends will get in a firefight in town and I will kill someone with my AS50 only to have a random Zed haul ass from the center of town all the way out to me or the random times that I dont realize I'm near a deer stand and now the military Zeds are coming after me. Anyway, I pull out my CCO SD and kill them to keep my location a secret. Im sure ammo for it is an issue, however I rarely shoot as I do overwatch like I said. Ammo for the AS50 isnt to hard to find, but half the time I dont kill someone because their either scared off my friends or they are obviously an ill-equiped noob

I killed 2 guys today on top of a hospital. Me and 2 buddies we looting when we heard shooting that wasn't from us. I ran out of town with my buddy into trees overlooking the town. My other friend tried to get out but got shot near the hospital. My buddy and I in the trees used range finders to search the town. We found them on top of the hospital. I took them out with my as50. This is the only as50 I've ever found or have seen. I'm sure I've died from a few though. I use it over the dmr I had because everyone would alt f4 everytime I hit them. I don't camp waiting for noobs with pistols in big towns. I provide over watch when my buddies raid if I'm fully geared. Sure people are douches with them, I don't try to be.

Im in a group with 2 other friends and we take more risks then I ever would solo. Its ended up with some very intense gunfights that really improve the game

I really like it, however I too think to much is going on at once. Its hard to tell how many clips of ammo you have as its all over the place. I think the graphics and all are awesome and you have some real good ideas.

I showed my friend how to cook meat last night. So much better then just eating canned sardines. The 800 blood is very worth the risk of cooking

I find MT Dew all the time lol. I found my first range finders off a dead guy the other day with my buddy. I still have yet to see a ghillie suit anywhere. I find FALs every time I do a crash site, I've still yet to use one.

Nvidia people turn off Ambient Occlusion and in game set the memory to default. Try it

I use to have to "flush" a lot or completely close the game and reload it to fix graphical errors caused by dead bodies. I dont have this issue any more after turning off Ambient Occlusion (which I run on quality globaly) in my Nvidia control panel for Amra2OA. I turned it off and I have yet to see the problem return. I use to get it in Stary Sobor everytime I went and I've since been there twice and have yet to have it happen again. Same thing with the Air fields, I have since been to NW air field 3 times with no issues. I also run my video card memory on Default instead of very high. My Card has 768mb of Ram but the game seems to run best on default. Switching from very high to default seemed to help a lot, turning off Ambient Occlusion has seem to fixed it for me. If anyone else can confirm that this either fixes it or doesnt would be great.

Switching the memory to "default" i would say solved 70% of my problems, however changing the Ambient Occlusion seemed to fix the other 30%

once I saw scoping out stary Sobor from the west side of town (sort of close to the store). I noticed that I caused the zombies to spawn on the west side of town but not the east. When you buy a tower it comes with all the little screws and directions on how to bolt the motherboard into the case. Its very easy to do. The hardest part is making sure you buy the correct motherboard for the processor. You need to make sure the "CPU Socket Type" is the same for both the processor and motherboard. For example an Intel Core i5 CPU Socket Type is "LGA 1155" so I just need to find a motherboard that supports that socket type. I use www.newegg.com which only ships to the US I believe. However most computer hardware sites will even recommend motherboards to go with whatever CPU you pick. You can always go on tech websites and get help too. If you view this page http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116505 It shows you what Motherboard, Ram and other goodies that will work, if you scroll down there is a little tab that says "Details" if you click that it shows you which CPU socket type that processor is. You can then take this info and find motherboard in your budget that fits this CPU. etc etc.This honestly is the hardest part is just making sure it will all work together. Assembly is very easy and so is formatting.

Actually I dont have this issue any more after turning off Ambient Occlusion I think it was? I'll have to double check when I get home, its the very first thing in the after you go in the AmraOA specific tweaks as stated in the first post. I find some hackers absolutely hilarious and their videos on youtube make some of them ok in my book. However some are just douche bags. Give or take.

I scope out citys a good while through my DMR scope to see if anyone is in town. If I find someone I check out their weapons (if any), type of backpack, try to figure out if they have friends around etc. I have only saw one person that had a bandit skin. Now I play friendly and 90% of the time I run off to avoid conflict and only have 1 murder due to a guy with an AK (non bandit skin) running straight at me and I had no time to try to talk it out (I had no mic at the time). Personally if a bandit skinned person was close enough to talk to, I would probably shoot at them instead of asking if they wanted to avoid killing eachother. Their skin tells me most of their intentions right off the bat. I think bandit skins are realistic in that,in real life, you would eventually figure out based on peoples actions, dress attire, and manner in which they talked if they were bandits or not. You can meet people on the street in real life and some people you can tell are more likely to be a threat to you then others. Its a natural self defense mechanism. I think the bandit skin puts this mechanism in the game.

Yea but then they need an anger meter and once a month the chicks will get crazy pissed and your character will start just shooting everyone on sight on their own.

Sorry I should have been more specific in that 60FPS is what minimum frame rate should be. Anything below is noticeable if it goes from 60 to say 20 then back up to 60. But anything between 60 to 120+ is not noticeable. A slow SOLID framerate (locked at a constant 30 like Halo) is better then a higher peak but bounces between 5-105 FPS. I was mearly saying that in most reviews they show a card gets 120FPS in a game and another may get 90 in the same game same settings. Some sites even show the minimum which still may be 80 for one card and 50 for the other.

I actually bought a 580GTX lightning (which is overclocked from the factory with alot better cooler) on ebay as a RMA unit. The company actually sends in bad cards and when they get a new one they sell the new one for $150-200 off. There are lots real good deals out there, just have to keep your eyes open. As it was also said, you dont have to buy the top of the line card, just top of the line is a little more future proof. Its kind of funny though all benchmarks show the top teir card getting say 120FPS in a game at 1920x1200 resolution. However the next one down gets 93FPS same resolution and settings but cost $150 cheaper. Now anything over 60FPS the eye cannot pickup. So unless you plan to keep the card forever you can get the cheaper one and it will still last a long time.

I have my computer setup that I will save up and buy the best motherboard and CPU ($500-1000) I can afford and then transfer all my old parts to that computer. Then two to four years later, once games start lagging behind I will then buy the best video card I can afford at that time ($500-600). I will reuse all the same componets from before. Then again a few years later when games start to slow down I will either buy another video card or if games are being held up by the CPU I will upgrade it and the motherboard. I try to use the same harddrive (saves money and I dont need the 600GB I have). Alot of times you can buy a motherboard and after a year or two a new CPU will come out thats a bit faster but will also work with your motherboard and its cheaper to just upgrade the CPU and again reuse your old stuff. I just bought a Nvidia 580GTX Lightning (that I overclock) that was about $500 on ebay. I bought at the time the 6 core AMD processor that was the fastest they made. I plan to move to Intel eventually as AMD is getting a beat down at the moment but right now no game pushes my computer. I can play Arma 2 maxed out other then AA and all that goofy stuff that blurs out the grass and trees. Games like Crysis, Mass Effect 3, Battlefield 3 all run maxed out with 4AA and 16AF. Anyway point being is I spend about $500 every 2-3 years and can always play the latest and greatest without much of a problem.

Personally that computer is garbage. Everything in it is horribly outdated. If you really want to play Dayz decently you will need probably a $300-600 computer depending on what you can live with visually in game. For cheap I would build myself (all sorts of videos on how to do this, its very very easy) On a budget I would go AMD Proccessor (even top of the line is only like $2xx) 4 GB Ram (doesnt have to be the fastest but need atleast 4 for windows 7, 8GB is better) Motherboard with internal sound card Harddrive alteast 300GB but whatever size you want, they are cheap now Nvidia GTX 560 / ATI equivalent or around there (This is very important that any graphics card you pick is decent, it will make or break the whole thing) Cheap tower with decent 500-600watt Powersupply Windows 7 64bit

I just bought a G330 of newegg for cheap and the mic is very clear! I talk to my friends through Vent (vent voices only go through the headset) but I got shot a few times for typing to slow

I am sorry for killing you. I was in the trees above Stary Sobor and found what I think is your tent. It was empty so I proceded to scout Stary. I noticed to the left of me some movement, I pull up my scope and I see you running towards me. I assume you were going for your tent as I dont think you even saw me. I never shoot on sight but I got scared and shot without giving you a chance to leave with your life, or to even possibly give you some needed food or water. I didnt even need anything off your body other then your morphine. You had alot of stuff that probably took hours to collect. Again I am sorry that fear got the best of me and it caused me to kill you. - JESUSFOOD

I don't play it in a pvp deathmatch style. I felt bad because the hours they spent on their character was wiped out by me without being threaten other then he had a gun.
