    I have been driving my own train since the SA was announced and stopped playing the mod when they did. My train is currently fully fueled and ready for passengers!

    If you ask me he was saying they had some syability issues but are now fixed. Performace server side is good to go. Need to do a test to verify scaling up goes well and some steam integration for release. So a few days to a week is my guess.

    The fog would be absolutely amazing! Imagine looting early in the morning in a small town... Can't see 15ft in front of you and zombies are all around. It would be awesome!

    I've seen that before (hopefully shipping to boot camp myself early next year) and ArmA pretty much gets the pace of combat pretty closely.

    I just found out that Matt must be close to 100 years old because of how wise he is!     The thing of it is they never confirmed 156 players per server. They said as many feels right. So they may cap it to 50-60 like the mod to start and slowly increase it from there when Alpha releases. That would mean it would release sooner too.

    He didn't flat out say it's not the 5th because he himself doesn't know when the verification of all the components will be complete. It could be the 5th, it could be the 6th or it could be tomorrow (not likely). I'm thinking any point from the 5tg to a week and a half after is a plausible time for a release.

    If we see a large scale test (50-100) and it goes well with no crashes, I would say a release on the 5th would be plausible. They may have even been waiting to do a large scale test until a set date due to the small amount of people who can test and not all could test until tomorrow or something. We shall see.

    200-300 zombies in the mod. 3000 in SA. Yep, going to be nothing like the mod's play style/KOS cause you'll be eaten by 400 zombies at once when you shoot. Sounds amazing!!!!!

    To everyone that is mad about speculation, it's all in good fun! I want it to release as much as the next guy, but sometimes it's just fun to throw different things out as to whats happening. No harm is being done! On topic, No I haven't heard anything new about the AI other than his plan was accepted to be executed.

    Not necessarily! Hsaid they want a soft release. So it probably won't pre-announced. It might just be a 'Oh hey, it's out BTW.'
