i play fine with the new patch, and i cba to read through all 11 pages (sorry) but serriously, i saw you saying stuff like "why give out a patch before it's tested" well. it aint really given out on the updater normal, if you decide to update it manually, you sir, are one of the testers of this patch ! CONGRATULATIONS ! a alpha is one big test, you are the one testing it before it's release! quit the damn moaning about bugs etc, you are a alpha tester, you are the ones that are supposed to help out posting bugs, not complain about shit that all people know!. if you CANT handle being a alpha/beta tester! QUIT THE GAME. Wait for the full release and enjoy the game then! untill then, let the rest of us enjoy helping out making that happend! Thank you!

was just about to rip you a new one untill i read the last part of your thread. Cant wait for the stand alone and i assume you started out like this cause you are getting really tired of the people get got arma2 OA for just this addon and then whines that it's buggy and want their money back. even tho it's TOTALLY free, and then they should just play the game they actually paid for instead.. anyways :) i agree. keep up the awesome job rocket/dev team!

Ah, im happy that it worked, the freezing problem i dont know if this caused or the patches did, but me and my 2 friends doing this, didnt have a trouble with freezing up yet :) one had a problem that he updated to 1.62.**883 (cant remember the 2 first numbers :P) and couldnt join our server even tho the 2 others could, then he downgraded his beta to 819 (instead of 883) and he could get in without problems at all! \\Wuggie

Well i can only post what i did to fix this, and it was simply cause my six updater etc would update my files etc and i didnt run the right beta .. my friend had a giant problem with it too, so i wrote him a small guide. i will try upload it here and see if it can help anyone (sorry cant upload with pictures etc, hope the text can help someone at least) "This is no official guide! it might not be the smartest way to do it, but it what i came up with and what made mine work! it is probable like fixing your car here and there with duct tape! it aint the best, but it will probably work!" Update to 1.7.2.5 manual This is a guide how to make 1.7.2.5 run through six launcher before it's the actual version on six updater! Open Six updater. Right click on the left side window and make new preset Rename the preset what you want by right clicking on it (i call it temp as i'll delete it again) Now make sure its highlighted and click on the Window "Mods" on the window to the right. Now make sure you have the new preset highlighted, and find dayz in the mods window! right click it and click "Add to preset" Now hit the "Run updater" button while having the preset highlighted Now you should have an updated beta version laying in your Arma2 OA folder under "Expansion/beta" Copy the files you have in that folder, into the core folder of arma2 OA (replace all files) AFTER that, very important that it's after. You find your new DayZ files you have gotten from www.dayzmod.com and copy them into your "@dayz/addons" (get the torrent or mirror thingie magic) now launch your six launcher, and find your server with the new version running and enjoy playing! IMPORTANT: DO NOT HIT THE VERTIFY OR UPDATE BUTTON IN SIX LAUNCHER! JUST DOUBLE CLICK THE SERVER NAME! Happy gaming \\Wuggie

Thanks thats what i thought. and second. trading to hacked weapons, eeeeh thats stretching the rules a bit far imo, its fair play if someone killed a hacker and then picked it up, but directly going for it, Shame on you sir!

Yes my tents had survived quite a few server restarts. what i found odd was that it was ALL tents in the server i realized (i knew another camp and that one is clean too) and our firestation in cherno, had wiring all over it, wich is also gone.. *EDIT* The tents appeared again after a hard reset and the update to 1.7.2.5 (server side) now i just need to get 1.7.2.5 to run smoothly on my pc (only works 1 out of 10 times to get into the server and have to reinstall sometimes too.) but YAI!

hmm it seems im experiencing a lot of problems that might be due to not being able to update my beta (for some reason). at least thats what i could understand after reading all the posts in here... and the guide i found seemed very sketchy running a lot of scripts etc.. \\Wuggie

I know this might bring me in bad light with a lot of people... buut im gonna say it anyways if you're 12 years old, you will sadly see this happening a few times in life, people you think you can trust might turn around and backstab you, but you will learn from it, and in the end you will KNOW who your real friends are. in a couple of years, dont even have to be many, you might realize, and be happy, that he decided to waste your trust in a little thing as a video game, and nothing majorly important.. and for same storys, nah cant say i do, and hopefully never will, would split a lot since we play all games together in bigger groups etc :) Hope you find new gear mate.. best of luck \\Wuggie

It should not be possible in theory, he could probably ban you from his own server, but never a global ban! it would require a log with YOUR id and name spawning in the weapons, not just picking em up. Picked up hacked items are legal, and will not get you banned..

stuck on loading atm, (6 times in a row) But it seems like a good patch on the paper at least so far ;)

i have had the exact same problem today, all tents and fence around it disappeared, i used em as late as last night before logging off, 13 hours later, everything gone.. no tents there anymore.. no nothing :( bye bye AS50 and m4a1 cco SD....

i had "something" like that happening, was sitting, talking at our camp, casually, i played with my z x and c button a bit, suddently i get stuck under one of our tents without realizing it and i stand up and break my legs and no one could get to me while i was slowly bleeding out ... i feel ya pain dude! :P

i think you just made a twin edged blade right there as they have kinda said picking up hacked weapons etc is NOT illegal and will NOT get you banned! only spawning them in will!!. so you actually whimp about people using a hacked weapon they found, and then saying its okay! (cause rocket allows it) ... \\Wuggie
