Hey, i just found a new car, and its pretty damn dark on the server, anyone can tell me how to turn on my headlights etc (i cant find it in my controls in options)

heh i figured now it was scroll wheel, thanks guys! :) L didnt work actually, wich was very surpricing! but the lights was broken (tested in my second car now)

play only on 1 server, no roof over me the 3 times it have happend :P so nope it aint that (at least for me)

no clue what causes it but i'm getting the same bug atm :) (3 times in a row even tho i let it count all the way down all the times)

same thing happend to me today :) oh well fresh start is pretty fun too ;)

try move the files from *\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\beta to *\arma 2 operation arrowhead\ overwrite all (dont copy the @DayZ folder) and i think theres the first 50 topics like this around atm :)

again, something like this was posted yesterday. i do not like personally when people use the word realistic around zombies etc... how would we know, i havnt met a lot of zombies in my days and if we take realistic from movies. then i guess there's a student somewhere in the US that's a spider guy... and some weird ass other super heros.. i like the zombies, they are allready pretty strong if you try shoot then with a pistol in 1.7.2.5... and if you REALLY want a "fcuk zombies are coming" moment.. go to the NW Airfield, and shoot off a couple of DMR or AS50 Rounds while being between the control tower and fire station.. then go nuts with your gun... happy "FCUK zombies are coming" moment ;) \\Wuggie

then it is exactly what i posted.. you probably have it installed. it just put the files a bit wrong "*\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\beta" Take the files that is in that folder, and copy them out into " *\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\ " just dont copy the @DayZ folder, as that one in there will probably be 1.7.2.4 :)

You need to update it yes! theres various ways of doing this on! http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php/ Get it and run it. Wich ever you want, you can run never and still play on that server sometimes, it put the files in *\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\beta and they should be in: *\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead if you dont run steam just ignore the steam part ofc :) or update it with six updater. if you want 1.7.2.5 dayz to run at the same time and start using six launcher (or you can still connect with the normal browser in arma2oa if thats prefered) follow this: http://www.mediafire...r8gbj76e631lxw9

well .... saying what is "realistic" when it comes to zombies speed etc. Isn't really anything that can be argued... i at least havnt seen any zombie, and in some movies theres fast zombies.. slow zombies etc, go play resident evil (wich is i guess where a lot of people started liking zombies anyways) (imagine running into the nemesis a few times in dayz.. ouch) i think they are fine as they are.. tho i think they did so they need more shots! that or my pistol have been nerfed in how hard it hits! \\Wuggie

You probably updated with the six updater. This one installs the beta somewhere else than your normal arma2oa is!.. the files you want are probably in: *\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\beta AND you want them to be in *\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\ you can just copy the files from the beta folder to the arma 2 operation arrowhead one.. \\Wuggie

no you wont. i took a few cars on some servers that i actually SEEN people leave to get into look buildings :P it's just how the game is... you cant really know if its hacked in or not, first car i found was in a city, that had that exact car spawn according to the maps around (pick-up truck) and that one actually self repaired all the time it seemed.. but how would anyone know if it was hacked or not by looking at it first time and running around in it for half an hours time? (that would potentially get you banned too if they banned people for such things)

run around near outskirts of forests etc :) i found my first 2 chopper crashes within first 20 hours played time (dont just run like one spot etc run from south to north and so :D) Even better would be run at the outskirt of forests, where you can see the outside of citys/towns... seeing as those 2 places are where choppers should spawn anyways :) so that way you cover both pretty fine :D go forest hunting! :P happy hunting!

No... the thing that globally bans you on battleye is if you run a script that is NOT allowed, meaning spawning the vehicle would ban you etc ANYTHING that is spawned by a hacker (atm afaik) should be okay to use. as long as you dont spawn it in your self etc. and well, there is suv like cars in the game at normal too

and when you open up arma 2 OA, (with dayz expansion clicked on) it do say dayz 1.7.2.5? (just pm me if your dayz aint saying that version and maybe i know a fix) :P
