    Save locations, health and equip all together on local server instead of hive, at least on some "special" one-separate-world servers. There are already tents system, so just create "token" on exit that would save all info about character and load that info on login to that server. Of course no saving to hive from that kind of servers.

    Best way to solve this problem - servers with their own base of characters. I mean that place of disconnecting, items and so on saving on local server side for each player, but do not transfer by any means to global save at master-server. So its like Or saves for each unique character for each unique server. You connect second server - you start from scratch at beach, return to first - appear at place where you have disconnected. I understand that this way will multiply save data to server's number, but i kinda dont see any other universal solution. But there also several ideas about tweaks against hopping in battle: - When player shoot it switch flag "shooter" on him and starts timer for like 10 minutes, after 10 minutes flag drops. - When player shoot another player it switch flag "attacker" on him and starts timer for like 10 minutes, after 10 minutes flag drops. - When player get shot from another player it switch flag "victim" on him and starts timer for like 10 minutes, after 10 minutes flag drops. - If player exit/disconnect with "attacker" or "victim" his/her weapon drop to ground. - When player login to server near another player closer then: a) 30m to b) 100m if that player was "shooter" c) 200m if that player was "attacker" Logined player drop uncontentious for 2-5 minutes and start moaning. Another players can awake him, like with adrenaline, but without actual use of adrenaline. So it would prevent hoping behind characters in battle, unexpected hoping inside building/fort while there are someone inside.
  3. Yep, main problem of zeds - they way too predictable in combat. Outdoors just slowly step back and shoot at zeds that attacking air, sometimes it doesnt work due lags or its somehow fixed, but indoors its pretty easy to kill zeds. There are also a problem - i have no problem killing zed, that attacking me, but its much harder to kill zed that attacking someone else, it takes more bullets to kill zed and even clear headshots dont work. Maybe more types of zeds would do, depending on territory. Now there are different skins, but what if they would have special abilities. For example: - grabbers - have special attack - grab during that they dont damage survivor, but making him incapable of shooting or running, so its like knocking down attack similar to now, but with higher chance, and less duration and damage to survivor during knockout. - some of military zeds have bulletproof vests - resistant to body hits - some of military/police zeds on north faster than other types or have some way to damage/grab running player - some of crawling zeds should remain fast indoors - some of north or city zeds highly infectious and will infect players who got too close to its body even after death of zed. These zeds should be slower, but solo camping in buildings will be more dangerous due these stinky zeds. So idea is about making more stronger types of zeds at north and making knocked down survivors more resistant to zeds attacks so your partners could save you in time.

  5. It would be ok to spawn without gun, if something like stones or empty cans given instead for throwing and stunning zeds, giving time to run away and hide.
  6. I know, setting is pretty dark, zombie apocalypse and surviving, but still it would be nice to have some alternative for humane players. So basic of idea: Implement tranquilizer dart rifle and tranquilizer dart handgun. Make both have bright yellow/orange color textures so it would be clear for other players that guys with these guns somewhat harmless and pretty handicapped in pvp. Both dart guns have long reload time, doesn't affect zeds, but put player characters after 5-10 seconds from being shot fall in long knockdown, enough to disarm them, warn or flee from them.
