I LOVE DayZ (and clearly hate grammar). I love it for the fact that it feels real and I can work with my friends to achive simple goals. I think it would be sweet if Rocket added smokes and liqure in the game to increass the feal of realism. Picture having a smoke while sitting at a campfire after a big gunfight. I would be nice to have so if I went AFK my charcter could be still doing somthing. People could even see someone having a smoke and assume he is AFK or having a break and get the jump on him. Aswell liquire would be fun, funny and practical. Are you saying out of an entire city there is not one beer to be found? Picture a drunk sniper, or some drunk idiot running through charno just letting of rounds. Lol it would be a site to see. This would be a sweet update and it shouldnt be to hard to code in. Till then I leave some spots open in my pack till the day this dream becomes a reality.

DayZ realism (NEEDS Smoke and Liquire)

I also see where your coming from EMT Jase. Bring drunk could set you up to a death sentance, but it would also be fun none the less. I think it would make some AMAZING youtube footage. A drunk guy trying to manage in a firefight or doge zombies, I would likely pay to see that. I think time and loaction should be considerd on the players end, but I would still like to see a mechanic for it tailored in. -

I do think it would be a sweet AFK, but I didn't know that it might already be in as a part of sitting que. I'll have to check it out to see if males do it as well. Would still be nice to get a farther depth to it for giggles, but I could settle for it if it's already been scripted in. I do agree it's not a big priority, but you right, there doesn’t have to be a mech behind it, maybe just as a fun feature/unique animation. Thanks ya'll! -

TO EVERYONE, YES, SMOKING = BAD. YES, ALCOHOL = BAD Let’s not get into a health discussion about HOW it is bad. Arguing goes nowhere, so let’s just be friendly. I just think it would be fun and neat to have in and curious to how it would be balanced in DayZ -

The source is only considered to be evidence if the source is valid (Did two years of law, just wanted to say that) Not disagreeing that smoking is bad, just "disagreeing" with some of the "short term" effects on a "random chart" (I could make a chart that says otherwise and post it) But to put this too rest yes I know, understand and agree Smoking, not good for you. I agree with you, I am wrong Let’s shoot back to the main point of the thread which is having these in the game as a fun idea. J -

Facts are often in-accurate when pulled from the Internet, no reference on sheet from where it came from, could be from anywhere. Aswell as many of the short term effects are out there trembling, dizzeniss, irritation Not arguing, just friendly disagreeing :) -

But I rather not get to into weather smoking is good for you. It's just that 1/4 smoke, and almost everyone drinks, especially in hard times. I like the idea: Alcohol: Pros: -Reduces pain, -Slower loss of blood (medically you don't panic as much reducing heart rate, aka slower blood loss) Cons: - Drinking makes your vision slightly blurry -Soft shaking. (Maybe increased dehydration, to an extent) Smokes: Pros: -Reduces Hunger (make the hunger timer slow down) -Steady’s Aim through scope (calms nerves) Cons: -Increases dehydration, -Slightly more visible, -Maybe at RANDOM times could cough, -Increases blood loss if bleeding (could go either way on that one, because it does calm you down, but also increases heart rate) Side notes, - Smoking should not have a long, or lasting effect, (these folks run all day, there lungs are fine) - Alcohol induced effects should not last forever (I wouldn't want my screen blurry for 3 hours) -

I think you facts sheet Is a little out there. It seems like a one sided anti smoking chart, like you very first smoke. It mainly just increass blood pressure, heart rate and makes you feel less hungry. Talking to my PT about it. Nothing against you, just not rocking the chart : / -

Smoking dosent ruin your body unless you have been doing it for years (I'm talking 20-40 here). I smoke and a health junky runner (irony at its finest). Infantry, marines, even special forces smoke. Aswell you charcter is a full grown male (few cases female). I'm sure they have drank before. I just like the concept of allow you to branch out into things people do everyday. If there was a zombie apocalypse I deffinitly would be grabbing a bottle of somthing. Picture it, your surrounded by zombies and there no way out, so you take a swig of rum. Light up a smoke, and go out guns blazing..... Epic... Quentin Tarantino, we need to talk -

Global Ban On First Login (No cheats/no scripts/no hack)
RazorHardy replied to trveblack's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
I was glad flabout global ban for hackers, but after reading these forms I can't help but question the intent of battleye. It seems the are just banning everyone everywhere to set an example. I think they have made there point and it's gone too far. Most players NOW that are being banned have nothing to do with cheating or even have the intent of cheating. They NEED to fix this before they loose half of there community. -
Global Ban On First Login (No cheats/no scripts/no hack)
RazorHardy replied to trveblack's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
I was Globaly banned for no reassion, NEVER modded or used any script, don't even know how. I was killed by someone then got into a city, changed severs a few time then BOOM, banned. I LOVE that there trying to get rid of hackers, that's a 100 on the awsome scale, but now im scared that there banning honest player in the cross fire. I did send them an appeal, but have not heard back. Me and my friends want to play tonight so I think I might just want to buy another copy. :( I cry on the inside for the honest player casualties in this war on cheaters
