Because they are not a threat. They are survivors like me and giving them a makarov an some basic supplies that I don't need will help them stay alive. Why do I do this? It's not to make myself feel better. It's not to help them kill me.... Which might happen. It's to prove to them that there is another way to survive. Not by ripping things from others but by bringing together those who will do good. It may be lost on a lot of players but those that it isn't lost on will think twice before killing without remorse.

You know i am rather amazed at how this topic is moving from trying to get people to help out a little and stop being a four year old that knows he can blame the dog and still get desert, and turned it into a rage fest of throwing around insults... even i fell pray to it for a post or two... this is not what this thread is about people.... granted there are going to be bandits and dicks and there is nothing i can do about it but come on.... we don`t need to be in a clan to work together to achieve a common goal... keep each other alive and find cool shit....

Ok... I'm against hacking a game but if you think about it... you scavanged them..... i would take everything I wanted and walked away.

Because it's a game.... their death in the game is meaningless... they clearly set out to do what they wanted to because here you are complaining about them on the forums... you have immortalized them by telling the story and explaining your aggravation. Despite what some people think, it has nothing to do with COD or BF3. Those are just games of different types and have nothing to do with how they are.. If you look at the way the games are designed.... they are all heavily military strategy focused but the play style of all the players is pretty much the same. Running around, killing with weapons in ways they were never intended to be used. Hoping up and down to avoid bullets.... Killing themselves to get kills.... etc. It has nothing to do with the games and all to do with the way people are now. In a world where you can do what you want to who ever you want and even if you die you can come back.... do you really even care about rules or being a nice person? If you want a better explanation of this then simply watch the movie Groundhog Day. In it, he comes to realize that he can do what ever he wants and there is nothing anyone can do about it as he gets a fresh start every morning. It's a god complex in a way.... Well i`ve been on a very philasophical rant for a while so i`ll end it with this I LIKE BOOBIES!

They do it not because they want a lot of kills, or because they want your gear, or even because they think they enjoy it. In fact they probably think they enjoy it but to be honest, deep down these people are so desensitized to the fact that they are suffering from some form of mental issue that they can only feel good by commiting acts of violence and making people angry. They know they are operating in an place where their actions are not subject to punishment. They see your anger and death as a way to fill a void in their life that was not filled by their parents or people close to them. It's just what they have become from knowing no matter how revolting they are they can watch women they could never get have sex on the internet. They can lash out against anything and anyone they want without facing any consequences what so ever. Simply put.... they are the product of the modern era... they are here to stay and nothing you say or do on a public forum is going to make them leave or change their ways. Just deal with it and stop wasting your time with anouncing your issue with them online...

I don't know about the rest of you but I want claymores. Granted, they will be the bane of people who run around like mad men in the game but to the careful survivor they will become a welcome addition to the game. The way to deal with them would be simple too.... the wire cutters..... they already exist in the game and their ability would remain the same....

Item dupping is an issue that is going to be solved and you can't limit great things that could be added to the game because there are idiots out there that are abusing glitches.... when the issue is solved things will become precious again... you`ll stop seeing snipers everywhere, you wont have a guy running around with the same set up all the time no matter how many times you kill him because he has a tent set up somewhere with a limitless supply of the same guns... to be honest... i have the urge to simply go around with a lee enfield and fire off round after round everytime i see a sniper and then run at him... regardless if i die.... he still has big trouble heading his way now

If i was killed by a claymore in the game it would be my own damn fault... your supposed to be trying to sneak around and not be noticed.... it would stop a lot of the running around like idiots with machine guns with a train of zombies around you...

There are several military bases on the games map.... you mean to tell me they don't have claymores in russia....

The only problem would be that you could only have sex while wearing a kryptonite condom... which would kill you..............

I often break into peoples houses and jump around for joy when i find matches... when the owners come out of their rooms i point guns at them and scream FRIENDLY!? when they dont respond i shoot them.....

i'll admit that the possibility of you two being randomly sellected by a hacker that wasn't the sniper is close to zip. But your not taking the correct course of action. You and your friend need to both contact battleye and give the details of the situation to them as well as handing them a list of all people that were on the said server at the time. only through constantly doing this can battleye have a chance to see how bad the situation is and have a eaiser way to narrow down the hackers. complaining on here to fellow players isn't going to acomplish the goal your setting out to do.

So your saying that If some one was giving you all the stuff you need out of the kindness of their heart you would still kill them and steal their stuff... even though they just saved you that hour of work that you claim you kill people to avoid. Your defense in why you kill inocents is that you hate looting and trying to survive in a game designed to simulate trying to survive........ have you ever considered that one day when the world does go to shit, your going to be one of the people where good people don't do anything when your about to die...and then feel no remorse about letting you die...

If you think about it. Going to the beach with a few extra items and waiting for some one to spawn may be a great way to recruite some one to be your buddy. Think about it. You die and wake up on the beach. There is a man standing there and he begins talking to you. Next thing you know he is giving you a weapon, some magazines, and other things that will help you out. It's like having the beginning NPC that isn't an idiot to be there and help you out.

I find it amazing that a topic about killing unarmed survivors gets 168 posts but this one only gets one.................

Ok so I'm watching youtube videos of DayZ games and its a giant storm in the current video I'm watching. Without me realizing it, a storm rolls into my town... I start hearing the rain and the thunder as I'm watching the video of the guys in the game dealing with a storm.... I freak out for a second... Is this really happening!? a second later my brain kicks in and I start laughing my ass off...... Good times....
