Zombi spawn inside buildings / houses

The problem with this is that in a real zombie apocalypse, the infected would leave their house, looking for munchies. -

This makes no sense, why would your character start talking to himself? The point of this is to simulate a real zombie apocalypse setting. (Not sure how to do italics, so please forgive if this fucks up.) You are in a zombie apocalypse in this game. You are the character, your mental state in game is your mental state IRL. You are supposed to get in character, not have it done for you.

Cannibalism and Zombie suggestions

Cannibalism sounds good, but the zombie variations does not. A little variation, like some zombies have a tiny amount of better speed/vision/hearing and it is randomized, but just because that is how it is with people. But classes of zombies is too left 4 dead-esque -

How about instead of the magazine disappearing, you just get an empty magazine, and you can find ammo, not magazines, and fill the magazines? You wouldn't need an animation for it really, just stopping for a second and crouching down or some such. Edit This is the item I'm talking about
