    Auto eat/drink while offline

The point of gaining hunger/thirst while offline is for continuity, so your character is still doing stuff while you're offline, but wouldn't they eat? I think your character should auto eat/drink when you are offline. Easiest way to do this is to just respawn without the hunger going up, but you have lost one item of food. Obviously this would only work if you were offline long enough for it to matter.

    MERGED: ammo, ammunition, .22LR etc.

That isn't the item I meant. This is more of what I was talking about Ammo Box

    Any thoughts?

    Alcohol and Molotov cocktails, blingin'!

Alcohol does not make you warmer, it makes you feel warmer. It takes blood from your core and moves it to your skin, so you get flushed, but it only takes heat from your core. Brewing in the game would take too much time to be worth it, and realistically it would take a long-ass time. And although molotov cocktails are badass, fire would just rape your processor/the server. So, good idea, but misinformed and not feasible.
  6. This is shit because the game is supposed to be as realistic as possible. You might find a badass gun in the middle of nowhere with no zombies around, and you might fight two hundred zombies to get to a building, and only get an empty soda can. That's how real life works (if there were zombies IRL).

Do the mods actually read these, or how does it work? Like what threads do they look at?

    MERGED: ammo, ammunition, .22LR etc.

No, I meant like the little cardboard box that has a plastic thing inside with a bunch of slots for bullets, not like the can at all. Probably should have clarified.

Also, maybe some way to make shotgun slugs?

    Melee weapons/ hand-to-hand

  11. Use the search feature please. All of the ideas are bad except for 3. These are just bugs, so they don't belong here. 5 6 7

    Water purification!

Well I meant models like the pot being on the ground with something over it to catch the water vapor, and something that drips into.

I'd like to see clothing in DayZ

+vote Also, some clothing could add pockets, like a jacket, or cargo pants or some such? Only problem I can think of is making all the models and making them work with the game.

    Water purification!

Seems like it would need new models, animations, and scripts. Might be 1. too much work, or 2. cause to many scripts to be running. But we can always hope :)

    Chem light placement

Makes sense, but it would take a lot of work.

    MERGED: ammo, ammunition, .22LR etc.

I think it could easily be done, there would be no animation for loading the magazines, just stopping for a second. Once the case of bullets is finished, it gets discarded. There are already models that could be used for this. It would be fairly easy to script, for someone who made this sexy mod.

    Facial Looks Tied To Humanity.

The game isn't supposed to be fair, it's supposed to be realistic. In real life you don't get a long beard, become pale, have a pointed chin, get high cheekbones, and start wearing a cape because you killed someone. You get on with your life.

    Facial Looks Tied To Humanity.

If you're going to get offended over cursing, you're too young for the internet. Anyways, you want a better idea? Okay then, you say that bandits should be pale, and have beards and scars due to their fighting, living alone, and not being in cities? Well survivors also fight, stay in the woods alot, and only go to cities for supplies. So if you want this idea to be realistic, then here you go. Make players that stay in the shade be pale, and the more they go into the sun the darker they get. If they are always out in the sun they're have terrible sunburn. Add some kind of shaving feature, and make characters have scars from their injuries. Humanity should have no place in physical features, which are decided by how the character takes care of his body.
