Infected children. Hell, Dead Space has those Necromorph children and babies (creepy fuckers). I think Day Z could get away with infected children. Not sure what the point of having it gameplay wise though.

People can talk, as other people have point out so whistling is kind of pointless but I wonder if it is possible to actually "shout". As in a voice option that increases direct voice range to say, 120m. Hell, how about whisper as well? It make it so that there are voice ranges ingame. Having it set to just one range is kind of odd. I'm actually surprised core ARMA II doesn't have it. I think. -
OH. I get it. Hack in as how many hack you can do with the hatchet. I didn't know so I just put it down.

People were spawning invisible. I was one of them and no, I didn't kill anybody. Edit: Album of my time: http://imgur.com/a/qN1uN#0 I was looking to die so I could restart. So I decided to see how invisible I was. This was a nice way to end my character. Sorry to the people I spooked, namely The Walking Dead and Ghost. I just couldn't resist. Might have spooked the girl too. As a side note about her, she was getting shot by someone with an Enfield. Might of had been Ghost. I am documenting my time in case I get flag or something to be banned. Also, I screen captured the way I did to simulate video. It was the next best thing. ---- Unstizzy, can you confirm or deny the following: Can you hear invisible people walking and running? People seem to react when I was nearby but it may have been because of the infected nearby.

For your first story... I found it really odd that you gave away a weapon and put yourself at a disadvantage. I play cautiously friendly and will heal and feed a person but never give out a weapon. You were asking for it in the first story. Temos really didn't considered you a threat since you only had a makarov. I wouldn't.

You guys got to remember that right now, it is a sodding mod. rocket couldn't give a damn how large/hardcore/casual the player base is. He's not getting a penny from us. Well, maybe from ads but not from us directly. Best could happen is he could land a job because of this. So he is just doing what he wants and what he sees fit. Now if he goes ahead with making a standalone game... it would be a different story.

Now if I find someone, I just back off and find cover. I scared off plenty of people like this. It is their choice if they want a gun battle. Its almost always that the attacker loses. So they just back off. Now getting ambushed... eh. It happens. -
While slowing down would cut down on the mistaken respawn but shit happens and it would be nice to have that one last confirmation before you respawn. I find it funny that there is a confirmation for exiting but not repawning.

An infected dropping a live grenade would make holing up in a house be rather dangerous... I would like it. Also dropping one who aggro'd on you silently won't help much since he goes boom anyways. Thus everything for a 2 km area is pretty much alerted. I got a basic one: An infected that plays dead. A lot of times I'm sure we seen dead infected lying around from others people gunfire. Now have fun determining if that one over there is truly dead or not. Sure most of the time you could just go around that body but what if you are getting pinned by walkers? It would be worth a shot to go by that dead looking infected... or not. On what it does when activated. Perhaps it could stay crawling or stand up to give chase.

We/They get shot at like anybody else and yes, we pack some heat. Like a pistol, withdrawn. Just enough just in case the patient isn't who he said he was... Which is perfectly fine, if a bit dick-ish. We/They can bounce back pretty fast, while having some fun. -

Dropping low ammo crossbow for noisemaker.

Unless you team up with somebody, I would advise against having the crossbow as your primary. You can deal with zombies easily with a pistol but when it comes to a bandit or an aggressive survivor, you might be in trouble. Now if you team up with someone and one of you guys main a crossbow, it works wonders. -
You have dishonored the Survivor Clan. SHUN. I seriously await the day when local voice chat works fine so people can at least voice their intentions. Might have avoided the kill.

Yesterday I hanged with the Doc for a few hours. I saved him a time or two and he returned the favor a time or two. It was tons of fun and I got to learn a thing or two. Also got a helicopter lift from a roof to finish it off. The moments leading to pickup was quite something. Zeds everywhere and you just don't know who they are aggro'd to. So you got to pretty much run and gun. Pretty much a textbook "GET TO DA CHOPPA!" moment. Doc and Company does good work. Help folks out and have fun while doing it. -
While I play like you do by not killing folks on a whim but how would it be enforced? Its just merely a group, merely word and words are wind. Folks like us get corrupted or just plain quit all the time. Alone and scattered, we would not stand much of a chance. There has to be some sort of structure to the group. Also I joined. Call on me wherever you see me in game.

We got to know what timezone you are in since meeting up can be problematic if the people in the group a separated by three hours. For example, I mainly play at night over in California. It would be kind of hard for me to play with folks in the east coast.

Doing it via a thread like this is too clunky but yeah. I'm available to help out. See my sig. As you can read, you get what you get. I haven't died for the last three days playing but I will die eventually. So my equipment will vary from time to time.

I lost some zombies twice yesterday. Once was just a hopper with me having full ammo so I just walked away. I wasn't sure if he got stuck on a fence or what so I just moved on. Second time was me not having enough ammo for 8 zombies after taking about 20 others. I ran hard eventually, through hills and forests, I lost six of them so I turned and took care of the remaining two. I did not see any of the other zombies after that. Surprised even me because I was under the impression that you couldn't outrun zombies however with those two experiences, I seriously think you can. Hills and trees will confuse the hell out of them.
