Most people who approach camps/bases don't just say they're passing through, and with no signs, they have no business being there. Scenario 2) First Order: Find cover and locate hostiles then return fire. You'd want to find cover first so you have a chance to retaliate, then don't just start firing at random, chances are they have a good view of your position. Scenario 3) Most likely kill him. Because this is DayZ where you've got to kill or be killed.
