Like the title says im trying to run a poll to see if the Glitching miight be Driver related or not? I do this because i play with 3 friends and they get the glitch at least 8 times more than i do. P.S: This is not intended to be a what GPU is better kind of thread so please refrain from making coments regarding that subject.

Reason i started this Poll was because i play with 3 friends and they all run ATI video cards and i am the only one running Nvidia and i pretty much never get the glitch anymore, specially since i updated my video driver last week. However they get it at least 7 to 8 times a night which is frustrating specially when we are under fire lol. But apparently the issue has nothing to do with Gpu type which is what i was trying to assess.

Building your own computer will always yield better results in terms of power and cost. If you dont know how to and dont know anybody that can give you a hand do some research on how to do it, there is tons of information on the net. Most people here will recommend you building a system with an I5 or an I7 processor with 6gb of ram and a Nvidia Gtx 560Ti, that setup will pretty much be a good start point to look to. If you can afford a higher tier video card by all means then like a Gtx 600 series. Sorry if im being biased on the components but i'm an intel/nvidia kind of guy. You can always research Amd cpu/Ati video card combos too. I hope this gives a little bit of insight.

Hopefully there will be people that stops talking about a "game" that has nothing to do with this community. Tyvm

Get Dayz Commander instead of Six Updater and make sure everything is up to date and try again. Btw when you say "it doesnt let me connect" what is the error you get?

Well he did use the correct term tho. Thats how Nvidia calls it, Nvidia Surround. Now regarding the issue sigh.... if you were going to run Nvidia the right choice would have been Intel all the way no questions asked. Now its possible its not a driver issue with teh video card and more of an issue with Arma 2 itself. Do you know if Arma 2 will run on Nv Surround? I reccomend you to check https://www.wsgf.org/ and see if other people have run into your issue. Thats all i can do for you bud. Good luck.

Hmmmm if you dont want to die i say start swimming and leave it on autorun (the steam overlay trick) and comeback later. I have no clue how long would it take to swim 20kms. But considering the map is almost 16kms side to side i say it will take a while. Another option is get the hacker to teleport ya back lol but yea good luck with that one.

Same here., running an i7 930 with Gtx470 on Sli, both Overclocked of course and still running strong.

Coudlnt agree more. Gaming laptops are not as future proof as desktops can be. If you have the funds build an I7 desktop with a good graphics card (Nvidia of course) and you will be good for a while. If you need more GPU in the future you can always get a 2nd graphics card and do SLI. Good luck
