haha I'm ill informed? The game is broken. Over the last few months it has gotten WORSE.. not better. Update after update has failed to stem the tide of hackers in this game. There are MORE hackers in the game then a month ago. You, or Rocket can post what ever you want, but the truth is there has yet to be real progress in stablizing the gameplay. NW, Balota, Berinzino, Cherno, Stary all have huge video glitches. No one goes there anymore. Duping and hacking are so common that most people don't even look for downed choppers anymore. Broken tents pump out new gear each server reset, so everyone has endgame hard to get gear. Hacker weapons like thermal AS-50s are more common then low end sniper rifles. People hangout near the coasts because there is no point going inland, unless you are looking for vehicles. and... we might be getting Dogs in a upcomming patch? LOL. What a total waste of resources and time. This is still called a "Alpha" game (One of the longest alphas I have seen)... you would think fixing any of the above game breaking problems would be more important then adding "dogs". I can make my own end-game fun if the above things are fixed. Dogs would be great down the road. I thank you for replying, but I disagree with you. I think I am very well informed.

Server hopping isn't even a speck in the current state of Dayz. Script kiddies and terrain exploiters are ruining the game. I don't give a crap if someone server hops after being killed by a lowskill hacker.

Now if battleye could just do something about the other 50,000 cheaters.

I know there are alot of hackers in this game already, but... Removing trees from your game client side and ESP ruin the intent of this game. Today I watched a "teammate" shoot people from on the top of a hill that was covered in trees. I stood next to him and tried to see through the vantage points he did... it was solid trees. He switched targets and again I tried to see how he was able to see the people, but it was solid trees. He then shot two people in a bus about 800 meters away through a horde of trees. When asked to explain how he was able to see them he refused to answer. I rewalked the killing area again and again, hoping I was missing something. I used my sniper rifle, and my binocs but it was clear that he was either the most clairvoyant person in the world or a cheater. This ruins the game. Granted he was on my team, but Dayz is about the suspense of hiding and finding people. How pumped are you when you play Team Frtress or COD? The answer should be 'not very'. Why? Because you'll respawn in 5 sec with all your gear. Hardcore should be exciting. Obviously this breaks the intent of the game. We kicked and banned him from our server following this. I'm glad that the latest battleeye update is helping, but this really needs to be a priority.

Its not that other games don't have hackers... Most other games don't have script kiddies. Real hackers are rare.. SK are not.

I agree. It's horrible. I try to play on low pop servers. I log out in trees. I move slow around population centers. I use cover constantly. I avoid the open. All of this should help midigate being a noob. Sadly, hackers are even on low pop servers now. Today I logged in to a group of three pine trees in a valley. I was completely encased in the tree. 2 seconds after logging in I was shot by an AS50 ( or M107). There were 6 people on my server. If there are death messages.. there should be 'Killed by' messages. It would help Server admins locate hackers. This isn't just a BattleEye problem.. Rocket and Bohemia should be working on this on thier end.

I'm in the same boat... randomly banned. is Battleeye facesmashing thier keyboards to find hackers? I thought punkbuster was bad at finding hackers... at least they never banned non-hackers like this!

That's all good and well, but I won't buy it. I love the game don't get me wrong. Rocket has a great idea, but here's the rub.... Using a anticheat program that fails this hard and then saying "it's not our fault you have to talk to battleeye" is like a company saying "one of our employees stole your thirty bucks and won't let you use our product, while he lets other people in our store assault and harass people without kicking them out like we pay him for? WE DONT CARE!" Saying that this is a battleeye issue is wrong. They are paying people at battleeye to protect them! So far they are less successful then the guys that guarded JFK.

Great... glad he's fixing the hackers by banning random people. Yesterday I was killed twice by hackers and then globally banned. ... funny thing is I don't hack. Battleeye is so broken it can't tell a guy hunting for hours for gear from a guy spawning in 50 battleships, and then teleport killing people. . GG worst cheat protection ever.

Hi, I was globally banned ( #26b8 ) and I don't understand why. Let me give you a break down of my last 24 hours on Day-Z on 08/06/12 me and a teammate were shot and killed by an invisible person. I lost all my important items (NVGs and gps). thankfully my friends arrived within minutes and retrieved the rest of my gear. on 08/07/12 my main server I play on us 1298 flooded by someone spawning battleships everywhere. The server lagged so bad that it was unplayable and me and my friends had to find another server to play on. on 08/07/12 while still hunting for gear to replace the stuff I lost to the hacker on 08/06 I read a message from a server admin (on server 1930). the admin, "Jake" said he was going to restart the server. I dumped out and rejoined 5min later only to be kicked by him. No reason was given. only the admin and I were on the server. I rejoined and he kicked me again. Again, no reason was given. When I rejoined he reset the server twice more. moments later he flew over me in a helo. I left the server. He was obviously abusing his server rights. on 08/08/12 while still looking to place my lost gear I was shot at by someone who spawned behind me. There were two people on the server (me and him) and I was in a forest in the middle of no where and it was night time. I logged out frustrated and took a break from the game. on 08/08/12 on a different server I was teleported high in the air in one of the cities and dropped to my death. I didn't notice the server number :(. I logged out in disgust. So in the last 24 hours I've been (and my teammates) have been chased off our server, lost the hard to get items I spent hours hunting for, been abused by lowskill scripters and server admins, AND lost ALL of the rest of my gear, including the ghille suit that I had just found after hours of searching. Today when I tired to log in I find that I am globally banned! For what?!?! if I am a hacker I am the worst hacker in the history of the internet. I am pretty upset right now, and am really curious why I've been banned. It seems that you're system rewards corrupt server admins and actual hackers. I submitted tickets to you and to BE. Thier support page is very vague. This is my first contact with BE, but so far they seem rather incompetent. I know posting in here won't help my case, but maybe it will help others that have had this same thing happen to them.
