I don't care if LeeHarveyEnfield wants to post these stories because he actually does a good job of telling them. He conveys an image to me that I can understand and at the end I've decided it was a well-written very short story. I don't have to like the theme. Who said good stories had to have heroes and happy endings where everyone is brave and everything makes sense? You're looking at him like he's bragging about what he's done today. Some people just want to write. It adds to the forum, and it adds to the game. Leave them alone and let them do their thing.

That's interesting. I had no idea that was the case. I guess I just assumed it had been around long enough to find its way into most of the world's vehicles.

But most modern cars come with automatic transmissions. I guess the cars in Chernarus might be older, but I can't imagine every vehicle would have a manual transmission. If you're referring to things like starting the car and putting it in drive, I suppose that's interesting, but it wouldn't add too much unless you were really working at it on an older car (which is entirely possible).

Pardon me if I correct your terminology. You don't "buy" DayZ, DayZ is a free mod. You buy the game Arma 2 in order to play the DayZ mod. I'll try to answer some of your questions, though I've never played WarZ myself. 1. The scripter situation has improved significantly as the mod has been updated. You'll find a lot of complaints about "hackers" in old posts and writings, but consider that they probably don't apply to today's DayZ. 4. Time in Arma 2 works like real time. There's a 24 hour Day/Night cycle. When you leave a server on, it will cycle through days at the same rate it does in real life. It offers equal time to day and night. Servers can modify or circumvent this, though, so you may encounter servers that are 24/7 daytime.

The people who don't KoS tend to not post about it. They don't complain, and you don't know they're there because they saw you when you didn't see them and they left you alone. It's hard to imagine all the times you were seen and not shot. We only consider the times we were shot.

Play when you want for as long as you want. Don't let other people suggest what a good or bad amount of time to play is. It's your time to spend. If someone's bragging about how much time they spend playing, there's something wrong with them upstairs and you should ignore them.

Are you running all three types of antivirus software at the same time? That can cause conflicts between them where there may be nothing wrong happening.
