Because those who do not take up pistols and axes to attack others generally find themselves shot by pistols and axed to death. I don't approve of the mentality, but I can't blame them for doing it.

It would be nice to see interchangeable ammunition magazines and rounds. They have a swap out method for some magazines, but it would be much better if the magazines and the rounds were separate entities, and you could reload your empty/low magazines in an ammunition box. A 7.62mm NATO round pulled out of an M24 magazine should be able to work with an FN FAL without any problems.

Yeah, suppressed weapons need special low-velocity rounds to function correctly.

Many people get a thrill out of tracking and sniping players. After finding all the loot you've wanted in DayZ, your only options left are to interact with other players somehow. Some choose to go out and play medics, some start bus companies, colonies... some just seek out and shoot other players for entertainment. This game is what you make of it.

Vehicles that people have taken and stashed away elsewhere won't return to their original place unless they were destroyed or untouched for 7 days. As for whether or not all vehicles are guaranteed to spawn from the start, I'm not sure. It's likely that while a vehicle did spawn there at some point, somebody got there before you and drove off and hid it somewhere. Keep checking different spawns, I personally find ATVs more often than anything else. Good luck.

You're not supposed to run private servers, it's against the wishes of the dev team. Every server follows guidelines, which includes being public without a password.

Could always stock up and hope it gets fixed.

I've never noticed this, now that I think about it. I guess they could zombify the female civilian models from Arma 2 just like they did with the male ones. Might add a bit more realism.

Well, if you're already running a private server that you're not supposed to have, why not add vehicles you're not supposed to have while doing it?

I like the idea, but I think it would be difficult to implement.

That's the funny thing about ATVs, you're bound to flip it eventually, no matter how well you drive or how careful you are. The idea is to have fun with it and use it to find more stable vehicles like cars.

There's really nothing you can do about it, you were attacked by a hacker and now you're screwed. You weren't the first and, unfortunately, you won't be the last.
