You have to go to the battleye website for this, nobody on the DayZ forums can do anything about a battleye ban.

I'd really like to see a lot of the vehicles that don't appear in DayZ, but the real issue is it would be just plain unfair. Explosives in DayZ are rare and anyone with an armored vehicle could just roam around running over people and destroying everything with little to no resistance. It would take a lot of AS50 rounds to destroy one of those things, and chances are you won't have enough ordinance to stop them. I'd like to see maybe one of the medevac variants appear, as they have no weaponry and would only serve as an armored vehicle. Down one step further, I'd even be happy to see Humvees with armor and/or a machine gun as those are vulnerable to small arms fire and it wouldn't be overpowered.

Bandit kills don't give humanity, they don't affect it at all. Murders cause you to lose about ~3000, bandit kills are neutral. Unless something changed in the last update regarding humanity.

The generalized banditry advice you commonly see is usually the best. Gather superior weaponry, wait near locations players frequently travel, ambush the players and steal their belongings. There's really nothing complicated about it. Shoot players and rob them. If you're referring to more sinister things like luring players into a spot where they feel safe, or pretending to be friendly so you can shoot them in the head when they turn around, then you're quite the sick bastard.

It's nice to see new updates rolling out for the mod when it seems like everyone is so busy gearing up for the standalone. Looks like we haven't been forgotten. :thumbsup:

Unfortunately, I bet a good deal of those people have never used a script and were kicked unnecessarily. I've been kicked/global ban threatened a bunch of times by BE having never hacked, scripted, or possessed any scripts of any kind.

Must be a poor shot if they couldn't hit you even after luring you with a decoy. Beans for your heroic efforts.

You're poking at people and trying to get something you'll never find. Are you expecting to change the minds of players by pouring your feelings out in a place like this? I guarantee nobody is going to consider this and say "Oh yes, I get it now. I'm going to ask the people I intend to shoot what they think about it and try to understand their point of view" It's like you're trying to squeeze water from a rock. But I shouldn't be meddling in other people's nonsense... I'm done. Have a nice thread.

There's nothing wrong with bear traps, they're a perfectly legitimate game item. Are you sure there wasn't some other reason to ban you? (by their logic, not that it's correct) Or that they may have been removing people to empty the server or make room for clan mates or something?

Have lots of friends. They help you out in firefights, help spot things you may not have noticed, and most importantly they can keep your stuff safe if you somehow get killed.

It's rare and interesting, something a man who has everything would want.

I disagree with this guy's opinions. He sounds as if he just gives up on what he believes in every time the situation changes.

Check out the survivor HQ, there's usually lots of people there trying to form groups or join/recruit for them.

Humanity persists through death, and females cannot change skins at all. (That includes no female ghillie, bandit, camo clothing, etc) And yes, your hero status is revoked below 5k, though not necessarily immediately.

You need both Arma 2 and the Arma 2 OA expansion to play DayZ. I'm also pretty sure you aren't allowed to trade real world items on these forums.
