It's not a sailor shirt, it's a Telnyashka. Russian standard issue undershirt for most uniforms. Each of them have different colours for whatever unit they're in. So the TTsKO Jacket was used by Russian VDV (Airborne) before you picked it up. There's some cool history in this game if you take some time from shooting random people and do some reading.

I'm quite neutral. I do enjoy the hero play style, and I've never killed on sight, but I'm no 'DO NO HARM' person - I will shoot someone if I have a damn good reason to. My favorite thing to do so far is place a radio in the town square of cities, then get a high point so I can see it with Binoculars (Svetlojarsk is perfect). Then I wait until someone approaches the town square and talk to them from the Radio. Their initial reaction is hilarious because they think someone's actually there beside them. I then lead them up to me after telling them to pick up the radio, and we become survival buddies until the goddamn server restart (I HATE YOU SERVER RESTARTS). So many wasted opportunities because of server restarts... Also, this was my 666th post. Yay.

Oh geez, ARMA2/DayZ Mod was HORRIBLE for that. You'd shoot a guy from behind and he'd turn around and empty his mag into you. By the time you were both reloading, you'd both drop dead.

try vaulting/jumping and rolling and stuff. It usually works. Press yourself against the corner of the room and try to vault out.

They should have an event for DayZ on separate servers (just like Hardcore/Regular) where it makes a new character. This event would be called "HARDCORER THAN HARDCORE MODE" (or realism mode, but that's lame). Basically they could make it last 3 months or so or until one person is left on each server. Kind of like the Hunger Games I guess.. Main Features of this mode: -You may only join one server and one server only. (so say you joined "Server 1". you can't join any other servers BUT that server to play the mode. - you can still join Regular/Hardcore) -First person only -Loot doesn't respawn. Ever. No restarts, no nothing will respawn loot. -Triple the zombie amount in any and all man-made centers (Cities/Towns/Villages/Bases/etc) -Enable the "40+ diseases and sicknesses" Dean mentioned once before -8 Hour Day/Night cycles (4 for day, 4 for night) -Log out is only possible if you make your character sleep. -Sleeping characters are still on the map -NO RESPAWNING AFTER DEATH -Beards.

I found 2 at the base of Green Mountain. Didn't take any loot from them - it's all tainted and cursed.

Hell yeah - I dropped a Mosin with a long range scope, bipod and compensator for an AK the second I found it. I didn't even have mags for it. AKM: Best gun in the entire planet Don't argue with me ~ your opinions have no effect!

Hacker: A person -most likely with bad Dsync or frames- who appears to be teleporting around, but is instead just running/walking from their point of view. These 'Hackers' are blamed for the bad decisions of bad players who feel the need to blame something else for their death instead of themselves. I have played 237 hours of this game and have not seen a scripter once. Nor have I died climbing ladders or falling down stairs. I've never randomly broken my legs either. Are you guys sure you're playing the same game as me?

Maybe you joined a hardcore server instead of a regular one?

The noises mean something. Maybe you're going insane from all of the players you murdered for your personal enjoyment. Maybe it's Green Mountain.

I'm planning a camping trip to Green Mountain in the future. Now that they've added fires and road flares, it'll be a little more interesting.

It's so cheaty. Cheaters. Why do you use such a thing. Haven't you memorized the entire map by now like the rest of us? Haven't you learned a little Russian so you can read the signs? Silly people.

I was playing this server and somebody got banned for literally saying "I love you" to the admin. Then some people spoke out and said that wasn't right, that the person should not have got banned - they got banned too. Then I said I was leaving because the admins were horrible - I got banned before I could click disconnect. This server sucks anyways. I encourage people to boycott it due to the owners' incapability to run a server and keep a good community at the same time. if you want to join this server, go ahead, but don't even type a word in side chat. The admins will take it as a terrorist attack on their server and ban you before you can do anything about it.

They look a lot like Blackhawks to me here's a real one here's one in the mod here's the one in the standalone: It's hard to identify a charred wreck, but they look the same to me

I think, personally, this recent update was the best the game has got so far. M4's never belonged in Chernarus in the first place, so making them only at American Helicopter crash sites is the coolest, most logical thing they could have ever possibly done. I have yet to find an AKM though, for some reason. It seems they're extremely hard to find, because I've found 5 M1911 engraved pistols so far looking, and last I checked, those were the rarest guns in the game. AK's are not "pieces of shit" - they're more durable and don't jam up like American weapons do. The Kalashnikov line of weaponry is the most sold and most used in the world, and it makes sense they would be far more common than western weapons in an eastern (post-soviet at that) country. I actually have a Mosin with LRS, Bipod, compensator and bayonet that I would be more than willing to drop for an AK if I found it.

I got pretty lucky the past couple of days.

I think that crows should circle around dead bodies. They should land on the body and peck at it, slowly ruining all of it's gear. This will prevent people from dying, then just going back and getting all of their stuff. Also, it will help other people to find bodies. Now, this shouldn't be instant after death like the flies in the mod. For example, one crow might circle after 5 minutes of the body being dead, then more and more will come. After 30 minutes, say, the gear will be ruined and strewn about the ground as if crows had gotten to it.
