Automatically Ban Users of Invalid (Hacked) Items

Wont work, because no one with a hacked weapon would enter this server, if he does, he would get banned. So if you play reagulary on this server, there wont be a hacked weapon and you could not be banned. Actually, what is hacked weapon? a restricted or a cheated one? whatever the point is clear, we dont want hackers in dayz! -
i got a question about the sidechat. I have 2 servers running actually one waits for an mission id(Pending) and the other runs private. I have seen some servers that where showing who is speaking(using voice) in sidechannel. Could anyone explain to me how i could enable that?

You should check your timezones. since he is from CA, he has -7GMT that means if you live GMT+3 or so... you live in the future and he in the past.

Yeah, i ordered an instance id 8 days ago. Still nothing and if he says nothing older thgan 2-3 days.... i wonder what the problem is? My status is on "no" means that not accepted? it was instant there! could someone from the staff please take a look? i can pm my login details.

Over a week now and still no instance id and mission file. Why? I dont get it... could a staff member please reply?

How long does it normally takes to receive the Instance id and getting whitlisted etc.? I wait now for 3 dayz and my "order" doesnt seems to be processed. Could anyone give me an advice? I dont wanna run a Private Server. Or did the DayZ team made a change and stopped giving id's?

Hi, i will skip the smalltalk and just post. 1. Nightvision should have batteries. The night is unplayable until you find a weapon with flashlight, light yourself with a flare or you found nightvision-goggles... So my idia is, to avoid player countinous using this nightvision they should have a charge and should be able to recharge. In total that would mean, i cant just just there and wait, so i have to use other sources of light. The battery should have a charge of 30-60 minutes(i dont know). So, having a nightvision doesnt make you "overpowered" only in certain circumstances. 2. Remove or decrease damage of one shot kill rifles. Beeing a sniper is really easy in DayZ, but i since my expierences in reallife telling me a different story. Shooting in range of 200 Meters is indeed easy... but hitting a waterbottle in 800-1600 meters needs a lot of training, sure in dayz it needs training too, but... 2 hours? So if you remove the oneshot kill weaponds, they need to be better snipers. Ofc they cant snipe at night beacause of the nightvision restictions with those guns. and thats indeed a nerf, but actually... where is the skill that players need for beeing good? And at all, mostly a 8000dmg hit will make you unconscious. 3. First aid kit... That means a box where you can choose between one medical supply. Like those things in cars(Actually, there are no drugs in, but...they would fit in there!). So visiting a hostpital is always a good idia to get some firstaidkit's. You may think, that would be overpowered since it would decrease the slots in total? Yes you may right, but actually look at the kit closer, a first aid may only used for your self. So, epinephrine would not be inside the box same as bloodpacks. Only Painkillers, Bandage and morphine. Since bandages can be carried in the Ammo slot from handguns, it takes only 2 slots for those items to carry them with you. So if you play with your friend, you will have to use a real morphine or whatever he needs. I think thats a good balance. 4. Using anchored machines to improve your gear/ammo. Or to repair broken engines or something. Since there are so many things that could be done with this idia, i will just explain it short, create your own idia what could be done with this. The idia at all is, having fixed unremovable machines, like a huge lathe or other tools like that... that could be used to improve your gear. or repair some things you found(since there is no need to repair things expect vehicles, it needs to be inplemented.) This would have players focus on this machines and maybe capture them(Like setting up their base). So another traffic spot would be created. This is of course a horrible idia if guns would not break, or you wont have to repair anything. 5. This suggestion is one of the that players will say. NO or YES. there is absolutly no middleway. The thing is in DayZ, since you found a gun, you could shot as many you want, without making you a head what happends to my gun. In reallife it tells me again a different story. Some guns will break after 10.000 Shots. Yeah, its a lot. But it could be in dayz decreased to 50 shots if you have or so. Actually this idia is stupid, i dont like it by my self. Since the most encounters that makes you shoot are players. And they dont need 50 shots, they need 1-5 to be dead(mostly). 6. The wilderness without animals. How about this, having a fireplace will attract some animals that can attack. Like black bears or something. Living in the wilderness is a safe place(mostly), you could have a party in the woods nothing would happend. I dont know, but i think there should be some dangerous things in the woods. 7.Having a small hatchet to create a hole in a tree or something like that. And that hole could be used to put small stuff in there(only fallen trees should be used or the hole is already in there, i dont know) and maximum a pistole would fit in there. its the same thing as having a camp with only 1-2 slots but i like the idia. 8. If you could create notes, that would be funny(if you do it right, it could be awesome). So finding in a building a small piece of paper and a pen, so you can drop a on a door or if this is to difficult for the developement, on the floor. And another player pops in and reads the message"Look to the right" and another yells "SUPRISE..." yeah, that momens would have a lot of fun. Anyway, it could be usefull aswell, if you drop a note in your tent that says, please keep the M16. So your friend will consider twice. 9. Okay the last suggestion is having trapwire. making a player fall on the ground or you are able to create a sling to capture an animal. okay, making a player fall,would end in, a city is full of traps. Lets see... how about attatching a bell to a trapwire and the player doesnt fall anymore? That would attract a lot of zombies or other players. I dont know, this is maybe a bad idia, but i like the way you could capture animals. Thank you for reading.
