Hey, Just a quick question for the DayZ development team or any knowledgeable forum members. Will the standalone have mod tools or a mod SDK? I am just curious as I have been planing a map for at least a month now and I want to get working on it when the stand alone hits. Thank you for your time, HeadClot

Hey, I am Getting ready to upgrade my PC for the Standalone as well as Star Citizen Here is what I have CPU: AMD 6100 @ 3.3 Ghz RAM: 8 GB Ram (Can Upgrade to 16 GB) MoBo: MSI 970A-G46 Video Card: AMD HD 6850 2x Hard Drives: 750 GB Each PSU: Rosewill 750 Watt I am looking at getting an SSD (Solid State Drive), a Nvidia 660 ti, and a New case. Here go the question(s) - What SSD brand should I get? I am looking for a reliable SSD. Will my current video card run the standalone fine? Thank you for any help :)

I would not like military aircraft - Knowing what kind of work goes into them (Jet Aircraft) would be easily a month to a year before you can fly it. (Depending on the damage to the aircraft.) That is with power, the right tools/Chemicals, and man power. Easily a team of 100+ Simple Propeller planes would be nice getting from point A to B - So things like the Cessna Sky hawk or Douglas Sky Raider would be cool to see!

Why? All civilization has collapsed in DayZ (As far as I am aware...) I am pretty sure we wont want to fire up the old propane tank and grill just to make hamburgers... Plus we already have steak. Edit: Plus with all the gun nuts in dayZ I am sure that BBQ will quickly turn into a Shoot out.

Alright so I am some what new to the DayZ forums... However I would like to see modding or add-ons be a part of both the Standalone version of DayZ. More importantly the Steam workshop or something similar with a "Mod Marketplace" where the best mods are able to be sold at a very low price. Less than a few dollars or something like that. I know that Team fortress 2 has done this to great success in the past and is still doing it with just hats, weapons, and custom skins. Day Z would be able to foster allot of great community driven talent and make a better game. Examples being - - Custom Maps - New Weapons - New Drugs - New Zombie Skins - New Vehicles Once again this is just a thought/suggestion. :)

Never said I am a fan of pay to win. Nor did i say you get the Item. Like in every zombie Apocalypse you need to go find it. It will not be magically given to you.

It would give the community a chance to make their mark on the game. Plus With over 1 million users I think that both the server admins and the Devs would like some middle ground solution to having mods added to the game. Granted that not all of them mod...
