Has anyone else noticed a dramatic increase in combat logging since the last patch? It seems that with the changes made to the way the combat timer is activated it has become completely broken.

The combat timer worked very well in 1.7.3. I saw little to no combat logging in .3, but since the "projectiles near" variable was removed in 1.7.4.4 the combat timer is broken. -

On the private hive I play on, most players get temp banned for combat logging. Despite that, I've still noticed an uptick since the last patch removed the "projectile near" part of the combat timer. -
2 possibilities, the first being that its hacked. However, on the private hive I play on, the admin offers starter packs to people who donate which includes skins and that is one that is offered. I think other private hive servers offer similar deals, so it may be that as well.

This happened about an hour or so ago on The Legend of BDB private hive: WTF is this? Has anyone else ever seen a hack like this before?

It's not that you're too friendly, it's that you're not too bright. If you hear someone shooting, why would you run TOO them. And there are never friendly people in cities.

Both of those, and zombies need to not be a joke. This is a ZOMBIE survival game. Right now they can pretty much be ignored, aside from the occasional side step to dodge their (mostly) wimpy attacks. -

It will be released in alpha stage. Once its stable and has enough features for us to actually play is when it will be released. Everything else will continue to be worked on. -

Just to add to this, keep in mind that the stand alone release will follow the Minecraft model meaning the game will release in Alpha at a reduced price of the final product. So it will most certainly have bugs and glitches in it, although most of the hacks we are seeing now will be done away with. -

That's fine, and to an extent that's how the game is supposed to currently operate. But hacking/duping has made every weapon quite common. -

As much as I'd love to spend my down time policing douche bags so that everyone else on the server can enjoy themselves, I'm gonna have to refuse your oh so generous offer. And please don't compare the KoS/Douchey Sniper problem to bandits. Bandits are not a problem. -
