This many legit players being banned - something has got to be wrong with battle eye. Alot of theories seem to be popping up but I never touched Lingor or custom skins either. I'm on beta patch 95724 and use DayZCommander to launch the game. I'm making this post to see if other players here have also encountered this - please speak up if so. edit: If you have nothing to add other than "stop complaining" please do not respond. Got unbanned. Feel fucking vindicated. Thanks to everyone who chimed in to help raise awareness and get this fixed. Thanks Dingus for keeping us updated and Thanks to Suma and Sabel for fixing this. I would like all the trashtalkers to take a look at this situation and maybe incorporate what you have learned today (like perhaps that you are not the end all be all correct opinion on everything) into your future dealings with other people on the internet.

Like an hour before I got banned I disconnected while bleeding out/passing out. When I reconnected I was dead and was prompted to start a new character.

Fuck me. It's not working for me now. Maybe I connected to a non battle eye server? How was I at the same location with all my gear then? Wouldnt that mean it had to be connected to the hive/battle eye?

Those guys that the fix is not working for - did you also downgrade your beta patch to 417 or no?

HOLY SHIT! Guys! I found a fix! Some guy on reddit said it had happened to him before and to download the latest version of battle eye. I was like ...pfft yeah right. Anyway I went to http://www.battleye.com/download.html and got the 1.62 windows version. Replace your dll in arma directory /expansions/battleye Voila! Game is working fine now. I also downgraded to beta version 95417. Not sure if I'm going to play until all this shit gets sorted out though. Post back whether or not it worked for you!

Well I just got home from work. I don't appear to have gotten unbanned as some were claiming (and then saying they were banned again?)

If you feel the need to hear yourself speak and want to tell us we're all just lying or to suck it up and go buy a new key - go to another thread. The only purpose of this thread is for those of us affected to try to get to the bottom of what we have in commong to see if there is anything that could be affecting us. My set up: Using dayzcommander to launch the game with startup parameters for quad core processor -cpucount=4, etc. Have sixlauncher installed but dont use it. Used worrom updater to update to latest version of dayz. the AObeta. running beta patch 95724 no lingor island, custom skins, etc. only modified file in my steam directory was the AObeta file that I used to run dayz before getting dayzcommander - the only modification was where I put @dayz in the line to run the mod. yesterday right before my play session that i got banned i loaded up and played Arma 2: OA vanilla for the first time but only for about 10 minutes. I don't know if I disabled dayz or whatever but it didn't appear to be running the dayz mod during my OA play session. during the play session I got the global banned I was killed by someone who I believe to be a hacker. I lit him up with my gun and he didn't die but then came at me and killed me in 1 shot from behind a tree (neither of us could see eachother when I died) Once again I have no idea if any of these could trigger a ban or have anything to do with anything. I'm just posting everything I can think of to try to find a common thread between us. Please post anything you can think of so we can try to find anything in common.

You're being an idiot.Why would I come on here and try to get to the bottom of this shit if I had been hacking? If I were a hacker I would know why I was banned. There would be literally no point to me coming on these forums. BE doesn't read or care about these forums - so i'm not goin to "trick" them into reversing my ban by coming on the forums.

The BE website says overlays such as fraps do not get bans (which I tend to believe) - I wasn't running fraps anyway.

I haven't had a chance to log in since yesterday to see if my ban was lifted. I heard another person (rinsa) on reddit and here say that he got a ban lifted and then rebanned. Not sure wtf is going on. I got banned under patch 95724 (seeing as how patch version seems to be the prominent theory....even though I know people on new patches who are not banned)

weird because i can confirm with 100% certainty that there are bans for players who are not hackers....seeing as how I was one of them.It's very easy for people to sit and say "you're just lying" - I would probably be doing the same thing if I had not experienced this shit first hand.

I left for work this morning before being able to see if I was still banned. Anyone else get unbanned? I haven't received any sort of email back from BE regarding it. I was on patch 95724 for the people asking.

That's the first thing I did obviously. I doubt they're going to be receptive though. I made a thread about it because I want to see how many other legit players are getting bans from battle eye. I want to see if this is a widespread error as I suspect. Obviously I am not going to buy a new key if the game is just banning people that are not hackers. a) I would feel robbed if I get banned by THEIR system and then pay THEM money to get access again. That's a fuckign racket. B) who's to say that I won't just get banned again? Then I'd be down another $30

which cd key? the operation arrow head one or the arma 2 one or the PMC one?

when you ban someone from a server it is just a server ban, right? i got some battle eye global ban (never hacked) and I'm wondering if it has something to do with me killing the admin or something.

how do I know my "type" of global ban? Is that the x380 thing after it? Also how do I find my cd key?

I made an account and came looking here to see if there was anything about this. I just got a global ban and I have never touched a hack or script or anything of the sort. Nobody else has access to my computer - so my no little brothers hacking either. I'm pretty fucking annoyed right now but I know BI and Rocket can't do anything. I sent an email to battle eye but I'm pretty sure their shit is fucked up. It's almost laughable - I have never touched a hack in my life and I get banned today and yet when I plaly DayZ is so fucking chalk full of hackers you wonder if battle eye does anything at all.
