Polana. Clan always seems to get fucking ambushed driving through polana when we're going to the nearby factory to get parts for the vehicle.

Been running on various games since 2002 beginning with Medal of Honor : Allied Assault which we played pretty competitively now just a group of guys who play games for fun, running out of players for DayZ it seems though so welcoming anyone who is over the age of 18, speaks fluent English, and in general knows how to have a laugh. No real objective to be quite honest, you see some of the recruitment posts on here and they're fucking cringeworthy to tell the truth. Myself, I'm a glutton for choppers (and a pretty decent pilot) and raiding the NWAF. We have a Teamspeak3 and DayZ server. Vilayer has given me the worst, most unpleasant customer experience I've ever come across in my 24 years. My time with them is coming to an end, from the server shutting down whenever it feels like to the ping spiking to 200~ and booting me off (despite several attempts to get them to change the max ping). Even once when I asked them to do something I got a response along the lines of: "It isn't our problem" I immediately threatened to leave, after that I got the "Oh yeah we see the problem now!" bullshit. They lied to me in the first instance saying my server would be in a datacentre in London, when in actual fact it is a datacentre in Luxembourg. Why are people insisting on renting from these cowboys?

Hi all, just started renting our own server and have found that any vehicle we save in a location, it is gone when the server is auto-restarted. Spent about 3 hours repairing a UAZ only to have it gone this morning. Any idea's what I can do to resolve this issue as the small section of the community who plays on our server will get pissed.

Having the exact same sort of issues. When I raised these in a ticket I was told and this is an actual quote from the ticket: Hi Davey, I can see the problem and will attempt to fix this for you, however you have 35 players on the server currently, if you can login, and stop the server then reply to this ticket for me, i can alter the config for you, please also let me know what maxping and rcon password should be set to for your server. Maybe they're working hard but they cant seem to resolve basic issues such as setting the max-ping higher. As I said, abysmal.

Had nothing but trouble with Vilayer and their customer service is abysmal. Stay well clear, thats my advice.

Just a post to say Von Grimm saved me after about 2 hours crawling with no morphine, even gave me some food and water, would request his help again.

Accidentaly banned a clan member instead of a hacker. I unbanned him using DaRT, but he still cant get in, can anyone help?

Hi guys, First started playing DayZ with the free version of ARMAII, played perfectly apart from some FPS drop due to my crappy computer. I loved the mod so much I decided to uninstall it and purchase the Combined Operations pack from the BI website. Now the graphics have all changed so has the interface and my FPS is absolutely terrible. I've messed around with the video settings rigorously but the game still looks worse than what it did when I used the free version of ARMAII I know there is some textures added with the full version of ARMAII, what I need is the free version texture files, so that I can enjoy my DayZ gameplay again. Does anyone have any suggestions or have I wasted £19.99? Breefhartje

Be careful I don't teleport behind you with godmode on and waste you OP. I do that to everyone I see with hacked weapons.

Hi everyone I am a fairly noobish admin of a server rented by a company. We are having trouble with hackers, what preventative / easy to catch ways are there? Also, is it possible to change the death messages to "randomguy was killed BY randomguy2" rather than just the usual "randomguy was killed" message? The reason I ask, we have a few of us that play on our server and are being hacked fairly frequently, so when we know we were hacked we can determine who it actually is doing it.

Also, how can I tell if someone is hacking when I'm looking at the webconsole on ACPLayer?

Title explains it all, I have an extra set of NVG's (found a pair lastnight, and another this morning pretty lucky), I'm looking to trade for something rare, probably L85 or AS50 if possible.
