You ever stop and think the sight might be like that because that's how it is in real life? I don't know how a real 1886 sight looks and at the moment can't even think of what one looks like in the game, but not all weapons have top of the line iron sights.

Exactly! You can buy .50 BMG caliber rifles, or .7.62x51, or 7.62x39, or 5.56. I've even heard of a private citizen in the U.S. owning a WWII era anti-tank gun. It kinds looked like a howitzer. Also rifles like the M107 and AS50 would be that powerful in real life as they were not originally intended to be used on people but objects such as vehicles. Their name says it all. Anti-material rifle. If you've never seen a .50 BMG round you should look it up and try to find a comparison picture to something you know the size of. Those things are huge.

I realize I live in the U.S., but the AR-15 is the most popular rifle sold here. It's basically an M4 without the select fire. And it's not just in games. If you buy a real gun you want to see the holes it makes. Not in people, but in targets.

I think the majority of AS50's and weapons like it are duped and when SA comes out it will most likely be fixed.

While only Chernarus+ will be available at release, Rocket has expressed much interest at doing a EVE style server and map transition. In EVE when you go different areas or galaxies you load into a different server but you don't notice any change. EVE also has a whole server dedicated to chat. But to do it really like EVE where everyone plays on one server he would need to add many maps.

Haha yep. I've seen videos of (I think it was the U.S. Navy) testing a rail gun. There is absolutely no way one man could carry the current rail gun technology and use it as a sniper rifle.

I saw the video. He didn't shoot the helicopter, but he managed to get a headshot on the driver and it crashed.

No, you're right. They said Chernarus+ will have every building enterable eventually. To my understanding the main designer of Chernarus and Chernarus+ is one of the devs in prison in Greece so that may hold them up with that a little, but I'm sure they'll eventually do it.

Exactly! Finding the in-game map is better than just googling it and finding one in a second with all the loot on it. What fun is that?

Also if you have like an Alice Pack or a Coyote Backpack you would get stuck on pretty much every door in the world if you tried to go through them sideways.

So if you get a bandit or hero skin and die you still respawn with it?

So I was going into Cherno from the west side just off to the side of the main road. I hear a truck so I lay down, but the truck stops so I know he saw me. I only had an axe. A guy in a ghillie suit with weapons gets out and asks if I'm friendly. I say yes, and he then proceeds to give me a ghillie suit. He then drove away into Cherno. So that was pretty interesting considering I had been killed about 20 minutes ago in Cherno right after I had killed a bandit (which was my first kill). And there was also a helicopter flying over Cherno. All this in a server with about ten people at the time.

No I shot a guy using a CZ550, but got shot by a Lee after that.

While it does seem that tents are fixed, I don't think vehicles are. Me and my brother had an offroad pickup and a sedan, and when we logged back in they were both gone. Our tent was still there untouched. It is possible that someone found it and stole the vehicles but didn't see the tent, but I don't estimate that to be too likely.

Have you ever played EVE? If so it would have to be very similar to that. And well they managed to get it to work for not only one galaxy, but many others as well. In EVE you don't choose a server to join. You just play the game. There are different servers for different areas, but you don't have to join them it does it automatically. It would be very possible to make the entire earth using this system. It would just take a long time.

So my brother found one of the big buses, and it ran amazingly! He drove it for a bit and then it stopped. The engine still ran, but it didn't go anywhere. We figured out that it was either glitched and stuck on a bush, or it had flat tires (they looked flat). So we eventually got some car parts ( two tires, engine parts, windscreen glass, fuel tank parts, scrap metal) and went back to the bus. Also it did have gas so it wasn't that. But when we got there we couldn't repair it. As far as I know the repair option should come up when you scroll the mouse wheel right? Well nothing came up. I could put gas in it, but we couldn't repair anything. And I know it needed repaired because when you got in it everything was kinda red except for the gas tank. Then some guy walked up and we all three ended up dead. But I was just wondering if anyone else ran into this.

No, I'm not asking if tents transfer servers, what I'm wondering is if you take everything out of a tent and pack it up can you take it with you to another server and set it up?
