They are pretty much banned from hunting also in the USA. Due to poaching (muzzle noise is so low, you could kill 3 deer and sneak them out of a hunt club and noone would even know you were in and out...lol) They are popular only in the US because the guns are cheap and the ammo is super cheap (if and when you can find it atm). And as you know, America is full of cheap asses :D

also spread the good loot out versus having it only spawn in the airfields....hell that would stop KOS camping entirely if you ask me. honestly in RL shtf, it would make more sense to have a rare gun spawn in the closet of a small house (hidden), then in the middle of a well known military base...lol

Correct. That's still 200 yards (far). I highly doubt anyone posting here is dime size accurate at 200 yards with a Ruger 10/22..lol that's a 1f bullet drop and a semi auto 22...

I own a CZ455 (replaced the 452). It's the smoothest most accurate 22lr I own. Really is a nice gun.

In other words you cannot just pick up a 22lr and start shooting shit 50+ yards out without knowing something about MOA...your going to miss. A lot lol

Accurate 50 yards yes. 100 yards+ still very accurate. You just need to know your MOA. Because bullet drop is there with the low cal/weight

Heck throw in the gear/items/ability to handload and reload ammo and DayZ gets VERY interesing again...lol

50 yards there is rougly 1 MOA for 22lr. 100 yards 1.5-2 MOA etc etc So yeah, sniping with this gun would be VERY challenging/fun :D MOA = measure of angle (how much you need to adjust your scope, or your iron sights to hit the target etc)

Clothes have nothing to do with KOS. Bordom does. There simply is nothing else to do in DaySA atm other than server hop and KOS. :(

The current AI (zombies) are just horrible. Adding more is only going to make it worse. I would first fix the mess we have now, which is the AI... It needs line of sight for starters from building meshes in the game...basic AI programming LOL -
Dean has sorta dug his own grave here. Once you get geared (which is too f'n easy btw), the ONLY content in this game is to server hop and player camp military areas (bases, air fields, etc), and basically KOS everything in sight. The AI is down right horrible, so no one is going to drive their gameplay off that lol It is what it is. Hopefully the game will get some real content soon, or else we went nowhere with the SA, only a circle back to DZMod lol

yeah the airbases up north will be camped with server hoppers. this is true. but at least by the time you make it there you should have a way to defend yourself. again, if dean will patch in some sort of timer to prevent server hopping, KOS would drop 10x. most your KOS dudes are jumping servers and hunting players that way.

Dean needs to take some of the 2.25 mill he made last week and hire someone who understands AI, and completely redo it. The current AI in Dayz SA is not even on par with a 21st century video game....no offense lol it's horrible :D Since the AI is so bad, everyone is stuck with the same content as before - horde as much loot as possible and shoot each other in the face. :(

Epoch was dayz on steroids. Having the ability to collect resources and build/create custom player structures within the world added months of gameplay for a lot of us who were burned out 100x on vanilla dayz. it was basically mindcraft for dayz. lol Would love to see it's features come to SA.
