This unless they are duping. I avoid Cherno and electro like the plague unless it's a medical supply run and even then my heart is in my throat the entire time. When we lose a team member in our squad they become the designated supply mule we send them in to gather medical supplies to avoid any real loss for our surviving members while we try to guard their body until they return.

The artifacts make it even more of a risk so most people avoid it. When you can't even return fire it's kind of a turn off.

2 out of 3 in my group killed by hacker. (Read)

Only spawns on heli sites so technically speaking yes it is supposed to be rare. Guess you're just used to duped items if you don't realize that. -
US 873 [VETERAN] Come join us!

I actually lurk on this server myself the tent occasionally will disappear but they come back the next day just a minor inconvenience. It does night and day unless something changed recently and I hope it continues to have both cycles. If night goes away i will have to reevaluate my love of the server as I love being able to play both. Without them both the game loses part of its immersion. Nothing creepier then lurking in the night trying to find those Zeds just saying. As for battleye kicking you at login just keep trying to join about the third time it works when it's being picky -

Most admins would ban you on sight and rightfully so. There is a reason it was removed as it is simply way to OP. there may be someone who has been alive long enough to still have a legit one but I highly doubt that. You should drop it on a zombie and hide the corpse that's the only true way to get it out of circulation. While it is true you won't get a global ban for using it it is still most Likely a hacked in one and you shouldn't use it as it makes people assume you are hacking. Bad for rep and bad for the game. -
Whats your worst Dayz luck?
Corpselooter replied to Jonny45412's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Was fully kitted out under a tree waiting for a buddy to hop on turned and was murdered by the tree. Was north east side of the map. When I spawned I was as far sout east as you can get. Was a long long long way back. Got sniped on the way respawned next to balota thunder domed by a hacker. Sad sad day -
The bandit skin simply alerts people that you have a tendency to kill others. Which by you own admission tends to happen but for you to rack up that high of a kos penalty you had to be doing it to some extent maliciously. We all get an occasional self defense murder at some point along the way but we aren't punished for it with a skin. That skin was earned by the way you chose to play the game and serves as a warning to the rest to be wary. You shouldn't look like a normal player because you aren't. Maybe in the future you will consider the consequences of your actions instead. Best of luck to you on your rehabilitation into the general population as it will take the same amount of effort to undo what you have done.

Teleported on a small island in the wilderness

Join a server with an older version and get hung on the loading screen and end process then when you join a server with the correct update you will be on the coast again. Might as well use that annoying bug for something usefull ehh -

Ghillie suit inventory mechanics question
Corpselooter replied to Red_Sky's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
It should still be a civilian clothes regardless of accidentally putting in your "victim". What you actually put on your victim was the civilian clothes you had on when you changed into the ghillie it is not in fact a ghillies suit Hope that this helps -

While I feel that there are a few more bandits out there than friendlies please bear in mind that the gameplay is determined by the players. I would suggest you try the survivors forum and find people who have a similar play style. We aren't all evil baddies looking to snipe people. Some of us like myself enjoy trying to survive and the occasional firefight with a bandit squad prowling. Instead of quitting why not make it a point to form your own Cherno/Electro policing squad and secure the perimeter for the fresh spawns. I do what I can to help players when I can just bear in mind that anyone can turn on you even people you help as its just the nature of the beast. Best of luck in whatever you decide but remember the game is what you choose it to be so maybe you can choose to stay and champion the cause of the survivors. The surprising encounters you run across when you actually get to interact with another player are fantastic even if it ends badly. Sorry for repost from your other thread but I wanted to make sure you see it -

How I wish this was on a server where my ping wasn't so terribly dreadfull -
Starting over fresh with nothing keeps the game interesting a fun. It sucks to get killed by a hacker trust me we have all been there but just brush your self off and head back in from the coast line. You will find gear again and possibly make a friend or enemy along the way.

Guy with an Enfield who died on UK142 at NE AIRFIELD
Corpselooter replied to TylerStroud's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Never had that happen but I have been respawned at the shore after logging in with all my gear. After the long journey back to where I logged out under a bush that I frequent there was my corpse as if I had been killed. All of my gear was still on me which was odd and my kill count had not reset so it is a little odd but this happened a few times over the course of the month but after I stopped logging out under trees I didn't have this happen anymore. My body still had all of my gear on it which I promptly hid but I'll admit I grabbed my ammo as I was down to 3 clips of sd ammo for my gun which is fairly difficult to acquire. -

I wouldn't shoot at you till you posed a threat by looking in my direction. I hope this helps

All tents and vehicles have been completely wiped...after the hive crashed.
Corpselooter replied to [email protected]'s topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Wait for a day or so and check again you may be surprised at the least. Last time the hive went wonky I lost 2 tents that we're just gone 2 days later they were right back where I had left them not sure why but that's what happened. -
Hide gun in fireplace after they inspect you retrieve gun Profit Just messing around with you a bit but I would like to hear some of the stories myself the game makes for some very intense and interesting situations at times.

In the future make sure you have an axe for collecting wood, a hunting knife to gut animals, and matches so you can light the fire to cook your food. I never head to far out away from towns to do supply raids on until I find those and once I do avoid main towns altogether. Best of luck to you in the future.

The one bug that may make me quit.
Corpselooter replied to gambles's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Had this happen to me left and rejoined on the beach with no gear but still with my gillie on didn't even have a backpack. Let me try to lay it out for you so you can at least try to get your gear back. You died wherever on the map you were actually at so if you manage to join that server try and make it back to where you last logged your body will be there with all of your gear. Took me about an hour to get back north to where I had logged out but that's why I always write down either my coordinates or landmarks. Hopefully you write down server names if you tend to play on multiple ones. Hope this helps anyone who has had this happen. Best of luck guys
