thanks dude, yeah thats pretty much my view on it too. I did speak to another customer when in teamspeak who said you can access the database, because as you said, whats the point in going private if you cant customise. It must be vilayer covering their back by saying you cant when you really can to stop people from fiddling with things then running to them complaining their server doesnt work. Does anyone have the dayz package deal? Whats the script with the acp? Can you increase the number of vehicles with that? Ideally i want to add a few more transport choppers and increase vehicle numbers.

nice work on the streetlights, i love playing at night (when its not raining) this mod makes it even more atmospheric especially when a light not too far in the distance suddenly pops. love it! nice work guys!

apologies as this may have been asked (probably numourous times) but i was just looking for a bit of info/advice. basically theres tonnes of private hive servers these dayz (see what i did there) so im starting to wonder if its worth the hassle but im looking to set up a private hive server and was looking at vilayer mainly their package deal, 4 maps you can choose private or public, if you for example chose private chernarus can you customise it like all the other servers i am seeing i.e 80+ vehicles and 8 choppers etc? or is this done using dayz bliss? can you install bliss on vilayer servers? i would be happy with just the standard dayz (although idealy patching so duping doesnt work would be preferable) and just more vehicles, when i ask vilayer they only seem to answer part of the question. so i throw myself out to you guys and gals here for any more info. also ive seen people talking about using navicat for my sql when adding vehicles checking for hacked objects in the server, also people are using it to add things like other transport choppers which is pretty cool. i have asked vilayer and the response is "we dont allow database access" but a customer in their teamspeak said you can connect to your private vilayer server through navicat and apparently its quite easy, so my second question is should i be reading between the lines in the sense that "we dont allow database access" means we need to say that so dumplings dont screw all the files up?

we have restarted the server. Many many times. I believe i stated this already. The chopper is nowhere apart from in the building as every restart the hotel is damaged (blackened cracked walls, smashed windows) the only time this doesnt happen is when we restart the server and it doesnt load the vehicles/tents the building is fine so somethings happening to the building. We lost the chopper a fortnight ago on sunday so even waiting 7days for it to respawn somewhere else after not being touched doesnt work. We have 5 people working at this believe me we've tried everything. Once we got the chopper spawning in a tree after a crash and we had to use a bus to bounce the chopper off on restart when it continued to spawn in the tree and blow up. Eventually we got it back but a tree and a hotel are slightly different.

hello, bit of a strange one this but im sure someone must have come across this before, my friends hired a public server everything runs well, ( vehicles/tents ) but someones managed to fly the chopper at full tilt into the hotel in cherno, now on server restart the chopper is missing from the map and the building loads up damaged like an explosion has went off inside, but there is no sign of the chopper wreckage nor can we hear or see an explosion if we log in next to the hotel on restart. can anyone please fix this, i hear hackers steal vehicles by being able to see all locations and then can teleport them, so is this possible maybe for a dayz team member to come on and teleport the wreckage from limbo then it should be available next restart? going up north to the base has become somewhat tedious. or alternatively spawn in a su - 34 for us to play with? please? i promise to only kill zombies.... not my friends... :D thanks in advance for any info.

one server i was in two days ago me and my mates were shooting at a bandit, i know for a fact i hit him 3 times in the face with an as50 he still just ran up and killed us giggling away over direct chat, people enjoy being dicks because they have no skill and mummys credit card, end of. have you tried to play things like battlefield lately? God mode pisses me off no end but it still doesnt come close to running through a field with a 43 day old character and suddenly find yourself falling through the sky. As the chap above says wait till the standalone then have about 3 weeks before new hacks are made and it all starts again.

"THUMBS!"yesterday as a new spawn to utes island i spawned in to dead newbies everywhere and a guy camping with a dmr, i managed to weave up to him loot his bag and shoot him in the face. alot of people need stationary targets and a thermal scope to kill anyone in this game so no, im not really worried about someone trying to shoot a moving chopper thats 200+ meters away, secondly if a guy is stupid enough to come to a trade actually wielding the rocket launcher when traiding, what do you think would happen if he started pointing it at the chopper? even if he blows it up, then what. choppers respawn, so will he... with a bandage and a flashlight. its my clans server so in 5 minutes the chopper will be back in the air. look at my gear.. sorry... spare gear. i have done everything this game has to offer, now im just looking to have fun with a rocket launcher. so yes, i will bring a chopper. i'll probably drive my truck. there will prob be a gaz there and who knows maybe we'll bring a bus... jackass. Nick 8748. depends on what your offering, for the rocket launcher on its own how about 4 x m107 mags and 1 x nato mag. if you have rockets too (even one), ill give you as many mags as you can carry. m107 and/or NATO. i also have ghilli suits i forgot to mention if you want i'll throw in too.
