Use the search button first, also when you create your title the forum should already show you topics with those words in, so did you just blindly ignored them and not read them at all? Another thing, the zombies are not 'undead' they where living humans who got infected by a virus that made them rage (more like 28 days later), if the human was dead before the infection he would still be dead, this is also the reason the zeds die by shooting them in the guts, they need vital organs (living) to stay alive. So even if a player got infected when he died or was shot to death, he would remain dead.

I hope so to, he has a very good insight on the game, but in the reddit post is also a guy who made the original design, of witch this design is based.

Well, the client has to wait for a server response, if the server is ticking low fps and can't send data fast enough, the client will hold until it receives, this is what causes the drop. -

I don't use it for the loot either, just so that I have a map at hand, I use the DayZ database map wich only updates the stable version, I mostly play on experimental so most loot and towns aren't even on the map. I just need the roads :)

He is not talking about the rifle, a person killing from a distance, of killing by closing in unseen is called a sniper, where do you think the word comes from in the first place? It existed long before scopes did or even sniper rifles.

Haha, never thought about googling DayZ map? :p 2 different popular interactive maps will pop up right away. Also checkout DayZ overlay, has quick buttons to medical guides and more.

Had the same thing since the mod, after several hours (whole day) on DayZ, dreaming about it is inevitable. -
A scope has a sweet spot to look trough, to far to the left or right (your eyes) and the lens will turn black because the light of the hull gets reflected. It is possible but would be to much of an hustle to get a steady vision.

Siply pres shift tab, open your webbrowser once and from that point during the gaming session you have an easy interactive map acces trough shift tab, just one button more as the M button from dayZ mod :p That is how I do it.

It would be smarter to check the amount of games instead of the pricing, because some people only buy deal games and under 5 buck games and may have bought dayZ as the only higher priced game. I do like where this is going though.

Max 30, a 60 mag will split to 2x 30 and a 40 mag splits to 30 and 10 pile, I still have some 60 piles, but they are still from before the update. If I split them or move them in the mag and back out, they will split to 2x 30

Server hopping is not gonna work, they spawn in the baraks and in the tents with grass floor. My friends and I have found akm's pretty frequently by just traveling the map, to all baraks, that will increase your chances.

I don't see why everybody is always hating on multiple weapon carrying, with a big backpack in the mod you could cary 3 easy acces weapons on you, i'm talking high calliber sniper rifles and lmg's here and that always went fine. Also when the tents come out, people will have armories hidden in the forrest, they run to it, switch even faster than this guy suggested and still kill you.

Seems like a script kiddy (he can't hack shit, he just finds the tools made by hackers on the net and uses them). I have read more posts about people talking that there is an exploit to spawn zombies (probably trough a dll or script). I don't even get why people would buy a game, suck at it and then ruin it for other people? Isn't it just simpler and less of a drag to just not buy the game and not play it?

Had the same thing today, the fix is easy. Go to options- video- user interface and put there the correct resolution, the screen will refresh, simply go back to the start menu, back to options- video- render resolution, you will now have your screen resolution in its options. Currently there is a bug if you change the settings from low to either other or click the default button, the resolution gets f*cked up. Only the UI settings will have the correct resolution in the options.

You spawned probably in svetlo and ran east into the debug zone. Turn around and go the way you came. And I highly suspect this is a troll post. Also there are several of online maps you can open trhough steam, it is always handy to have a map open.

They already explained why the zombies where one entity and not equipment entity's like the players, it would quadruple the drawcalls and half the fps by 4 or more times. -

The OP weapons in the mod was what made it so awesome, because in real life you have stronger weapons to. But in the mod the weapons where op yes, but also very very rare, same goes for the ammo, so when you are looting the airfield and you hear that rare As50 sniper shooting, your hearth would go 100x faster than in a normal gunfight, even more awesome if you could kill the sniper and take his gear. The word OP just comes from people who only play balanced arcade games (COD cuch cuch), they beauty of dayZ was its imbalance, that made the whole thing so freaking unpredictable and also motivated people to go look for that one rare piece of equipment that could make the difference between death or living in a gunfight. Also a good gun is nothing with a crappy shooter, even if it one hit kills.
