Yestarday all my efforts ended being turned into rabbit. Today on different server (DE 242) suddenly all players were moved into same location and ben shot. Is there any secure server? Whats the point putting effort in the game if there is a huge chance some idiot gonna ruin it all for everyone and move to another server to do the same there?

It is a game and not a real life, so people conscious doesnt count in this case. Is there any system that actually rewards people for not being notorious murderers?

Hey, i have found winchester yestarday but i coudlnt find ammo nowhere... I found plenty of .44 slug ammunition but when i picked them, took winchester it still showed 0 ammo. What the hell?

Atm the only way i know is trough making them swim behind you and then going to shore first , run away and go prone. The other way i know requires special conditions too: a fence to jump trough and then breake the line of sight when you get some distance and crawl away.... Do you know some other ways to get away from the chase if there are no buldings, water and fences?

I think 2 unarmed survivors' gameplay wont be much of a change :P . Im looking especially for an organised group that will provide me some rusty pistol, bullets, beans and expect me to be just their loyal brother/ fearless troop or simply a hired gun for a dirty work. Im also a dedicated heli pilot if someone would need one. Been flying long time blackhawk transport back in the arma2 coop days, and some attack helis too, but i doubt they are in DayZ Blackbird, could you PM me the steam account insetad of skype? Im using skype mainly to work, and i like it divided.

Hey, if you are playing on europe servers i would gladly join too. Im 27, been playing arma 2 and OA long time ago, now im back, playing DayZ for 2 days. I like the athmoshpere but im really bored of lonewolf axe searching and crawling without point or knowledge where i can find anything. I would love to see some cooperation i have seen on videos. Im expecting support of the team and offering my commitment in supporting the team in exchange :)

Yeah well, its not that simple... Many times i broke line of sight, went prone and they exploded trough the trees/bushes and started to eat me when i was laying on the ground.

That was most hilarious thing i have ever seen... Soldier with full health jumping from 1st floor on the soft ground instantly dying... His bones are made of clay or what? edit: oh comes out i didnt died but felt unconcious and broken bones >.< -

Yep, the more depth the better :) And having deathmatch is so immersion braking (setting foot in this game for the first time is a shock of how great athmoshpere this game have, getting shot or axe in the head while trying to loose chasing zombies is a shock in other direction - immersion vanishes imediately), it deserves a revamp for sure. -
I have run like 12 kilometers checking settlement after settlement and whenever i found anything other than a closed house it didnt had matches... How hard it is in post apocalyptic world to find matches in/around houses? After that long boring run when i almost felt asleep zombie got from middle of nowhere and finished me. (I was trying to find matches to make campfire to char meat i have butchered from a game to recover health).

Hello, im pretty new to the game but what already strucked me is that (according to answer i got in other thread) there is no point in not being murderer (eliminating the threat of other player murdering you if you let him live). The fact is that its just a game, so people's conscience doesnt matter here. Maybe it would be worthy to implement some game system to reward the avatar's clear conscience? Like not loosing all the equipment after you die? That would make sense cause it would replace the real-life conscious factor with game system which would burden you as a player otherwise. Simply put: If you murder 1 person you will loose 60% of your equipment upon dying, if you murdered 2, you would loose 70% upon death etc... and if you havent murdered anyone you will loose only 50% of equipment. What do you think? Would it be good system to encourage our imaginated concious to be kept clean making the game even more deeper and closer to simulation of post apocalyptic behaviors?

Stay on topic and read again. Yeah murders are natural... somehow... (lets say i agree), but so is conscience of people that stops majority from becoming sociopaths and rather make them looking on other people like an enemy of their enemy - better chances to survive against zombies and this small part of society: murderers. Yet when you remove conscience factor everyone turns into cold blooded murderer so its starting to go away from the great, immersive simulation of the post apocalyptic survival.

Yeah it should stay anarchy and under the rules of the jungle, so players woudlnt really be punished for being murderers, only non-murderers would get some small reward so the the decision "to kill or not to kill this guy" would have more meaning - hence add to the athmoshpere (simulate conscience). Its just awkward to get immersive in the game, crawl unarmed trough zombies to scavenge something, see a "human face", talk trough your microphone "hey man happy to see you!" and got axe in the head for no reason.

Yeah sweet idea. I have seen whole gameplays based on this uncertaincy of your mate's "allegiance". it would add depth to the game - if i would have more than beans i would say you can have my soda too! and some bullets! havent scavenged anything else in the game yet :P Just imagine your mate with his normal soldier skin start animating like a zombie from time to time and attack you in those moments. That would be just incredibly awesome. It would need to last no more than 30 seconds per occurance tho - to not take away controll from player for to long. So you could just lock your friend in the room for a while, till he "sobers" up, and then continue to search antidote for him :D
