Like they said above, get DayZ Commander. Its a game launcher that shows better and more information about servers and even has filters. It displays the times of all servers and you can filter by day and night, but sometimes youll find one at 5am and still black, but considered day. Its really helpful and can update both DayZ and arma. Look into it if you have time.

Dont think of it like "Everyones a bandit". Think of it as "Oh shit, that guy sprinting towards me with a gillie suit and a machine gun might be a bandit! Better kill him than die myself!" Most of the time when 1 person kills another in this game, its for self preservation, the other times are when someone just wants to be a dick and doesnt even like the game. I think that those people should just go play a game where that is the entire objective, like battlefield, cod, or even counterstrike. But being the realist that I am, thats not gonna happen, and they are gonna stay right here and keep killing you. Why you ask? Because they love to hear you whine about it. It feeds them, gives them strength, like trolls.

Just what exactly do you think BattlEye is? Do you think its some dude sitting at a computer with dozens of monitors checking server after server for a hacker? Thats what it seems like your infering when you say that it has to be blind to miss them all. Its a program designed to search for scripts that are being run client-side and stop them, which it cant do due to the hooking method, which allows it to go under the radar. Its a program only designed to do so much. Its like shooting the side of a barn and trying to hit the guy inside, but he dug a hole and is just chillin down there with a cup of coffee and the sunday freepress while the bullets fly harmlessly above.

Everytime there is a hack or a cheat, there will be a counter measure, but that also just gives the hackers another task to overcome. I dont care who you are or what kind of security you think is possible, but there is no such thing as completely secure. Nothing is 100% secure and impenitrable. Just wait, complaining wont really do anything but cause people to avoid you like the plague, or report you for spamming. Read that, arma was designed to allow scripting to make any scenario you want, allowing better realism. This is what makes it so easy for the current "hackers" to do their thing, cause its programmed like that. If you seriously care that much about the hackers, just stop playing

I dont like that. I would prefer a combat timer, like while in combat and shortly after. What if you just dont have time to deal with broken bones at the time of logging off and then come back to having all your work wasted? Bleeding or infected, Im all for that, but not broken bones too. How often do you have broken bones?

Not as far back as I can remember, but maybe the radiation caused memory loss. Its hard to say really.

Well, they could incorporate the same area code to see if your close enough to fill, and if you are, just add code to play a new animation they would have to make of you taking a drink instead of filling. So yeah, its not that complex to do. Maybe soon.

Fallout 3 was realistic? WTF are you smokin? Pass it here! It makes sense, but it might be limited by the engine/game. Could be a nice feature in standalone though. I would definitely support it.

Oh, so you cant login for 3 minutes? I couldnt login to Diablo 3 on release day AT ALL! Thats 24 fucking hours, which extended to brownouts for the servers for days. Seriously, your complaining about 3 minutes from an alpha phase game? Do you literally have nothing else to do? How about read a damn book! Thats what you want me to think so ill let my guard down. Not gonna happen! In reality, this is a game. If you really want it to be so realistic that you cant get your stuff back after you die, play on a different server every time you die. That will make both sides of the argument happy. You demand the change, so you do more work.

everyone knows you cant just drink from a lake, you could drown. The only safe way is to fill a canteen and use that to drink from. Didnt your parents ever teach you anything?

Thats one thing you dont understand. If a real apocalypse did happen, your telling us that you wouldnt horde crap and try to stay alive, but would live day to day out of your backpack? Thats just idiotic right there. The goal after an apocalypse is to rebuild, so why would we want that purposely prevented?

I cant take anything seriously from a guy named ragequit. Seriously, what happens if you somehow become the longest living person on that server? Youll be pissed when he permakills you and you cant get your crap back
