Whatever to you naysayers. I love the shotty and i've already killed 2 turds with mosins, and another guy with an M4 with pellet rounds. Just shoot in the head and you are fine. Sawed off is good for shorter range with wider spread. killed 2 guys (1 with 1 shot and the other with 2) with that as well.

Here's my latest as of right now:

The first guy you asked about in the second video wasn't necessarily unfriendly. He was being cautious. If someone came up on me like that i would have probably shot as well just based on being that startled. However, he did seem alright after you talked to him. A true unfriendly in that scenario, in my opinion, would have said 'ok yeah', then shot you when you checked the second time.

First couple of suggestions are the best ones. Camp the area and private servers plx come naow. Camping any area for server hoppers is actually pretty funny. Most of the time you can kill them before they even load all the way in. However, it's almost a full time job doing it. Still, it's some good shooting practice and ultra easy kills. Best places to do this are obviously NWAF, NEAF, Balota and even elecktro fire stations.

I've found them in diners before. Kind of rare but occasionally i'll find a scope in the front of the diner. Maybe that's just my luck though. I always seem to find the damn things when I'm not using that weapon at all.

^Yep, that guy was definitely not cautious enough. ALWAYS scope out the situation before acting. I stalk people for a few minutes to see if they have friends before making a move. He may have been friendly, but I can't blame you guys for acting like that one bit. I have done the same your friend did and would do it again in that scenario.

Damn right. I'm personally a bandit most of the time. That doesn't mean i'll kill you outright, but i will rob. Anymore, anyone you approach shouldn't know what is going to happen to them until the transactions have already been made. Just like the guy I helped out about 45 mins ago. I had my gun on him, dropped a magnum for him with some bullets, backed way up with gun still trained on him telling him not to move yet. Then I told him the magnum was there with the bullets and to have a nice day and good luck. Then I immediately ran off as soon as he said thanks and began to approach the gun I gave him. You can be nice, but ALWAYS be cautious. That guy was hilarious too "Hey man. Please don't kill me please!! You're going to shoot me aren't you? You're going to fucking blow me away right? Man please don't do that. Please I only have an axe. Please don't I don't want to respawn. You're going to do it aren't you? Just do it already then if you're going to. Seriously man don't do it. I don't have anything. PLEASE DONT! I'll leave. Don't do it man!" lmfao!! I just sat there and let him finish, thinking to myself "lol my god just shut the hell up already" :lol:

LOL! Was just talking to my friend about this. I hate when i'm in a really intense situation and i'm mashing 1, 2 or 3 saying "c'mon you fucking gun! GET INTO MY HANDS NOW!!!"

Exactly. When I feel like being a real hardass when i get the drop on someone, usually the first thing i say is "Hello. Get down on the ground now. you have 3 seconds to follow my order or i'll blow your fucking head off. One, two...." Well, they better have listened by that point xD If they turn to me, try to run, or I see their arms start to shuffle: bye bye.

ah weird. Well, I had hoped they had nerfed it at least a little. Maybe not all the way, but I feel like most of that stuff is just a tad easy to access.

Didn't watch the video but if you're gonna be nice to anyone, always hold them up and always watch your back. only reward or help out if they comply to your orders.

Spend 20 minutes customizing your character, die in the first 5 minutes of play. xD

Pretty sure they nerfed the loot in those. I admit, it was pretty noob-friendly finding literally every attachment known to the entire game in about 5 minutes.

I just walked up to a guy about 10 mins ago who begged for his life for seriously about 2 minutes. I had a sawed-off pointed at him. All he had was an axe. I never said a word. After he finally shut the fuck up, I just tossed a magnum on the ground with a box of 20 rounds and told him to be careful, good luck and to have a nice day lol.

I had a compensator but it's badly damaged so i tossed it. Sorry bud. I'd just give it to you if it weren't a worthless one. Keep looking!

try to rest, drink plenty of spite and take vitamins after you're done throwing up. :)

After testing mine out on a pack of zombies, it works just like the magnum speed loader. I tested it using a sawed-off and I was literally able to kill 3 zeds with 1 shot as they were all standing in the same, tightly grouped area. This sucker would work wonders if you had multiple people coming after you that were standing next to each other. Make sure both your shotgun and your snap loader are loaded. Fire first 2 shots from shotgun then press "R" to quickly reload with the snap loader. Fire 2 shots from those and then you have to manually reload everything. Saves a little bit of time. I had the same thing. After the server host mess, I logged into my favorite server as a fresh spawn. So I guess, goodbye to my old character. I think that is the best case scenario for a saved character at this point. I personally don't really care about restarting. It took me 20 minutes to get a backpack, clothes, food + water, a shotgun and ammo.

I think a lot of these are just temporary tests. They are constantly changing things up. I see some of the OP's concerns here. I think they should at least have some, if even not very much at all, in the tents. Within the next patch or so they will be solving server hopping it seems, so they better do something or it's going to get pretty hard to hunt for items. (which really, I have no problem with to be honest)

I find that if I don't look for particular items, i'm pleasantly surprised when I do find something nice! Best way to play is just to roll with what you have. You can take down fully armed people with even a shotgun if you play your cards right :)

I found a shotgun in a hospital on a chair. I also found 1 in a barn. I think they are somewhat random, but have a greater chance to spawn in most locations. Just check everywhere and you'll find one. I sawed mine off and it does have quite a spread and you need to be relatively close to your target to hit. I think i'm going to carry a regular shotgun and a sawn-off one for close-quarters combat. I can't wait until they come out with a mid-range, faster loading and very fast rate of fire rifle equal to the winchester in the mod. I'll likely sport that with a sawn-off as a side-arm. The winchester in the mod was one of the most underrated guns in the game imo. Thing was beast mode devastating at mid-range.

I agree, if it's not spawning such items already, at least up the chance for a shotgun or a pistol of some sort. It is a police station after all.

They should have put it in with ultra low possibility of getting it. I love prize item myths with a million hard-ons wanting to see it, and the true possessor keeps their mouth shut ;) classy suspense. As far as I know, it isn't in the game just yet.
